I have very bad eyesight with complex prescription requirements and very thick lenses, thus have never really liked wearing spectacles. Oh my… spin on several months of hard work by the team at PandA Eyecare ( an especial shout out to Lisa) and I now have two pairs of thinner lensed, glamorous, funky and colourful spectacles. Transformation; I feel great! I was given a lot of unhurried time, and patience to get the best for me, to feel good about wearing glasses. A 5* service and recommendation. Thank you sincerely.

Accidentally sat on my glasses yesterday and bent one side of the hinges on the frame which made it really difficult to see properly out of the bent side. Wanted to say a big thank you to the ladies here for being so kind and helpful in fixing the above issue.All I can say is if you’re looking for great customer service/care, I highly recommend them.

My sister was visiting Scotland and had a potentially serious eye problem. The local hospital suggested she saw a local Optometrist.Helena at Lindsay Brown did a careful examination and photos of the eye and diagnosed the problem quickly. Then explained how to self care for the condition backed up by an up to date “College of Optometrists” leaflet to take with her.Excellent service and complete peace of mind

I’ve already been to this shop twice in the month I’m visiting from America, and both times they were very friendly, fixed my glasses (2 different issues) completely - while I waited - and refused any sort of payment. If you’re lucky enough to live in Edinburgh, this should be your go-to for glasses and eye care.
