Not an easy project involving a small space that Peter has taken our ideas for a walk-in wardrobe with pocket door, shelves, hanging space and drawers into a reality - indeed better than we had imagined!Peter has a ‘can do’ attitude - he was positive, flexible and resourceful - identifying issues as they arose and generating creative solutions.Peter is extremely professional and very skilled! All his team and his recommended electrician and painter were similarly very skilful, they worked quickly and were very tidy. We are very pleased with the excellent product – a superb outcome for us and a pleasure to work with him.

Pete worked converting our loft for 3 months, building most of the loft himself as well as overseeing all the subcontracted works. Pricing was very accurate and competitive. He was punctual and tidy and very considerate working within our home. His work was excellent and we've ended up with a truly bespoke double bedroom with ensuite. Us pommy's love a cupboard, and Pete managed to plan and squeeze the maximum amount of storage out of a tricky space. See his website for photos. Pete and the team was awesome from start to finnish.He and his team were very professional and helpful throughout the build. They are very customer focused and were considerate of our neighbours either side that we did not want to upset or annoy.The quality of work is very high and the knowledge abundant but most of all we liked the promptness and how he cares about his work! We had a very messy project and our plaster walls and tiled floor were looked after very well.If you are looking for a motivated, friendly and most importantly trustworthy builder then I would recommend them to our friends and family! The change in the house was amazing and worth the time and expense!Thank you!!!!!

Aussie Man Can built us a loft conversion and we can’t fault them. It was our first reno so we kept changing the design and Pete was super flexible. His guys were ace - we didn’t expect to enjoy having builders around! Would definitely recommend.

A top group of lads! Very professional and a high attention to detail. Mike and Alex did a wonderful job of ripping out our old garage conversion back to the brick and then building back up, adding an entire new floor, installing a bifold door and skylight. As the job went on we were thankful for the way we could collaborate with the team on solving problems (like the floor needing to be replaced) without the feeling of overburdening them. All in all a top job

Highly recommend The Aussie Man Can!!Pete and his team recently remodelled half the upstairs of our house, including creating new rooms and window openings. This involved coordination of 7 different trades and building control, so could have potentially been quite stressful especially as we are both working from home at the moment.We needed have worried, Pete was an absolute pleasure to work with as were all of the sub-contractors he used.The work was all competed quickly, to a really high standard and at a competitive cost.We asked for a few changes during the project, all of which Pete was able accommodate with no fuss at all.If you want top quality work carried out by a great team look no further then The Aussie Man Can!!

Pete and Chris and the whole team of tradesmen were fantastic from start to finish. They helped make our vision a reality and we are so pleased. They were friendly, professional, highly skilled, punctual with impeccable communication throughout.With a busy family and working from home, they were so friendly and flexible which is just what we needed.We had a budget and a time frame and we worked collaboratively to make it happen. His prices are great for such skilled work. We have an old Victorian house in Brighton with wonky walls and they didn’t let anything phase them. Great problem-solving and creativity!The en-suite, fitted wardrobes and soundproofing are better than we had hoped for. We highly recommend The Aussie Man Can!

Pete and his team helped us extend, rebuild and transform an old shed in our garden into a beautiful studio space. It involved rebuilding walls, extending the roof, fitting floors and insulation, fitting bi-fold doors, timber cladding, and more. His team have been very professional and worked to a high standard all the way through the process. Pete is very responsive and creative in finding solutions to any unexpected things that crop up along the way. They have a positive work ethic and attitude are generally lovely people to have around! It makes such a difference from the usual building companies. Definitely recommend using them for your carpentry and renovation projects.

We recently moved down from London to renovate a house in Brighton, at the same time as preparing for the arrival of our first baby & whilst working remotely full-time due to the pandemic.Every single interaction we had, from start to finish, with Pete and his team was warm and efficient. They went above and beyond at every turn.The project was fairly priced and transparently costed. They completed the job exactly on time, on budget, and to an extremely high standard.We knew exactly what was happening, how much it would cost, and how long it would take every step of the way.
