Lovely staff with excellent customer service skills. Products are all reasonably priced and very good condition, especially considering some are 2nd hand. Shop is always clean and feels very welcoming. Truly is a little treasure trove for book nerds. Well worth a visit.

Really amazing independent bookstore. I’ve messaged the shop for advice on books and they always take the time to reply, same with comments on social media! I ordered a few days ago and my books arrived so quickly.They were packaged well and had a wrap to ensure no water damage, books are in perfect condition and much cheaper than anywhere else, I’ll always try shop with them now as so friendly! Even if they don’t have the book you need send a message and they will definitely try help you out!

For someone like me who loves books, then this is the place for you. Ashley, the young girl behind Foster's Little Book Shop, is so enthusiastic about her shop. It is situated down an old arcade and has an old-fashioned charm. The shelves are packed out with books of every genre, so there are plenty to choose from. A definite asset to Barnsley

So so pleased with my order. Would highly recommend! I got a few things, including blind date with a book which was a great choice! I also got a bookmark (which are recycled with passages from old books) and the book choice was in my favourite genre, so it felt very personal! I also received my order to the north of Scotland for less than most local delivery charges. The books are great and the service is amazing. Best little book shop I’ve ever come across!

Delighted to find Little Fosters in The Arcade, which is already my favourite part of the town centre. Little treasure chest of what you want to read and buy. Up to date paperbacks at less than ebook prices. Lovely vibe in there and knowledgeable owner. I will be back and often for real books at almost 50p less than the average coffee

I love this online book store. Great selection, a wide variety of genres and different formats. Affordable prices and frequent sales. Prompt delivery. Also fab customer service and interaction, always friendly and happy to recommend a next read! If I didn’t already have such a huge TBR pile I’d order way more! Doesn’t stop the occasional purchase though that I just can’t miss!

Excellent little book shop in the heart of Barnsley town centre. The kind of place I could happily spend hours (and lots of money) in. Excellent choice range and the staff were friendly, helpful and just, generally brilliant people.
