I am so glad I came across The Wild Wood Pet Crematorium, from having to make the heartbreaking initial phone call Melanie was so lovely and supportive, explaining in detail and at the same time expressing her love for animals, letting me know that my beautiful GSD 'Elsa' was in the best hands. The service offered was impeccable from collecting my beautiful girl to bringing her back home. Thank you so much for making this sad time so respectfully done. I can't recommend The Wild Wood enough.

We miss Norbert every day and will do for the rest of our lives but Melanie made his send off so dignified. She came at such short notice and returned him home within 24 hours. Thank you for providing a much needed personal service to our lovely boy.

I only have one critism I cannot give you more than 5 stars.Having been told our lab Charlie was terminally ill I contacted Mel by email. Within 1 hour she replied and explained the process from start to finish. The day finally came and I contacted Mel whilst I was in the vets. I was trying to explain to her while been upset. Mel understood the pain I was going through like so many pet parents do. I received a text to say Charlie had been picked up and Mel would take good care of her.I cannot fault Mel in any way. Exceptional service from start to finish. Thank you Mel for bringing our little girl back to usMichael Wray

You couldn't ask for a better service.Bailey was collected from the vets after his cancer fight came to an end. Mel assured me she would take care of him. She then delivered his ashes back home the next day. His certificate had a lock of hair, paw and nose print., such a lovely touch, thank you so much Mel for looking after our gorgeous boy x

Cannot thank Melanie enough for taking care of our beautiful departed kitty. After a devastating and painful few weeks she gave him the respect and dignity he so deserved on his final journey, we will be forever grateful for your kindness and support at what’s been a very difficult time xx

We lost our grand old boy (17 1/2 years old) & Melanie was absolutely fantastic with us, especially Helen my partner. She promised to look after him & bring him back to us as soon as possible. At the time we didn't realise were The Wild Wood are based. But Winterset was JD's favourite place to go for a walk. So we will more than likely get a plaque for him in the woods.

Had to make the hard decision to have our 14 year old family dog ‘Jingo’ take his last sleep. Rang Melanie and asked if she was able to come and pick Jingo up and take care of him and cremate him for us, Melanie was lovely over the phone, nothing was to much trouble, she came later that day (Friday) she was just as lovely in person, at not one point did we think our beloved boy would not be in safe hands with Melanie, my son and myself carried Jingo one last time and placed him in the boot, this was important for me as I’ve opened the boot of my car for the past 13 years nearly every day and put Jingo in, Melanie was more than accommodating of this request. As promised Jingo’s ashes were back with us on Monday mid morning, thank you Melanie you are a star ❤️

These people are just exceptional. We lost our 14 year old Husky this week and The Wild Wood made a difficult and heartbreaking time, effortless. From the moment we called them to collect our little boy, their communication was sensitive and thoughtful. They hand delivered him home to us within 36hrs of his passing. Thank you for treating him with respect and care.

Its taken a while to write as we are still grieving the loss of our beloved little boy, having had to make the most difficult decision of our lives. We called Melanie and she was so sympathetic and caring on the phone, and knew then and also from close friends recommendations that, the Wild Wood was the correct choice for the final goodbye of our little man. She made the whole process easier than I imagined and we were reunited with our baby the next day, with personal return and a lovely keepsake card with his nose and paw print and a lock of his hair with a lovely poem enclosed. The urn we chose was very fitting and couldn’t have wished for anything more. CJ could not have had a more fitting goodbye.Thankyou Melanie x
