Love Open Water London Royal Docks

This is nice and niche place for water skiing. River facing restaurants gives you a time to explore the inner you. While some plays on the water and makes me wandering how do they do it in this cold. It's a Good place to visit.

Loved the facilities, very organised and friendly! Would suggest to set up porta potties however.

Staff are incredibly helpful and just generally wonderful to be around, the pontoon is well equipped and clean, the loops are well marked and everything feels very safe. My happy place in London!!

Great location, the team really looks after you and there are tons of activities. The only thing I miss is changing facilities/lockers, but apart from that it is hard to top.

It's fantastic to have the opportunity to swim in these docks. When the 1.5km loop is open, it's so nice to swim with so few people around you, when compared to swimming in a pool. I personally haven't swum without a wetsuit, but towards the end of summer I could be tempted. It's really handy to get to if you live near the DLR. The staff are really friendly and always happy to help in any way they can.

Amazing venue, perfect open water swimming near central London. They don't have lockers but one or two employees are staying close to tents where swimmers leave their stuff. 8 quid per session. They can rent equipment e.g. wetsuit if you need. It's a very friendly place!

HIGHLY recommend this spot to swim. It's tucked away in a picturesque location, with a lovely dock with changing rooms and places to store your belongings. There are three loops of different lengths to choose from - perfect for those who are training to complete a specific distance. The staff are really friendly and helpful - they host different events to help test your skill and have 121 coaching on offer as well. Bright coloured caps and tow floats are required - they do have a supply of some as well. Lovely dining spots nearby for those wanting to make an occasion out of it - including outdoor bars on the water during the summer.
