Little Laboratory

I recently attended a bath bomb workshop with my 6 year old and 3 year old. It was led by Janine who explained everything really well and broke it down into manageable steps for young children. My two were delighted with the end results! I’ve also attended a more open, child led science session with my youngest and she loved exploring each of the different stations. I can’t wait to visit again for the Christmas specials ☺️

We attended our first little laboratory session last month. My twin boys had a wonderful time moving around the different science stations in the room. There was plenty of variety in the activities that even with their contrasting interests and personalities they were both able to find lots to spark their curiosity and creativity. Having themes works well with fitting in with what they are learning in reception without the forced feeling of learning that many other activities have. We can’t wait to come again for our December session and it has sparked an interest in science at home too!Thank you for a wonderful experience from my 4 year olds!!

I visited Little Laboratory with my daughter when we visited the UK and I was amazed by all the high quality resources Janine uses.You can tell that every station is well thought through and the whole set up itself is so well planned. Each station offers a different activity such as experiments, sensory stations or light panels with colour mixing activities. Being a science teacher myself it was great to see that Janine breaks it down perfectly to my daughter's age.Overall my daughter had a really good time and I would most definitely recommend visiting the Little Laboratory.

It was our first laboratory class today and we had a really great time. It was the valentines special class so everything was lovely and red/pink with plenty of hearts etc.I was impressed by the amount of different stations to play on and they were all different and great fun.Our little girl had a great time. My daughter (3) loved the open play little laboratory session. Each space was set up to encourage independence and exploration. It really sparked an interest and we now incorporate experiments into our play at home. We can’t wait to return for the bath bomb session next month!

We love our mornings at Little Laboratory. Most days my little girl asks me is it science class today? She is so excited the days I say yes and disappointed the days I say not today!You can tell a lot of thought and passion goes in to the set up. There are different experiments each week and the equipment used is lovely.It's ran by a lovely lady and the venue is good with convenient parking. It is a refreshing change to other classes currently available.

Really easy to organise, birthday invitations included, punctual and even a little present for the birthday girl! Set up, clean up and venue booking sorted. Now that’s all the functional stuff ticked. To organise 20 x 5 year olds, together with enthusiastic parents and get them to make slime together- now that’s challenge. A challenge delivered perfectly! All the kids and parents loved the fun of the slime making- making a fun birthday, easy. Thank you for making our day brilliant.

I've been to a few of the little laboratory sessions and from the very first one I was blown away. The resources are high quality, home made details and the experiments are fantastic. I love the different little areas allowing my children to free flow between different activities. They are always replenished and topped up during the session too, meaning everyone gets a chance to do something for the first time. The variety is great, and my girls want to do more science after the sessions too. We love the different themes and they are excellent value for money.It's like messy play but better, as you can learn about the science too, and so different from anything else on offer around here. We love them! Highly recommend x
