I bought a six door flatpack wardrobe on line. The price included delivery and assembly. Delivery was fine but the company told me they no longer included assembly. I tried to do the job my self but some of the build required two people. Fortunately, I found JHF Home Maintenance and asked them to help. This they did with flying colours! They put it all together magnificantly and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. Thank you.

A very efficient service - Jacob removed a shelf that was stopping my fridge from being moved back into its part of the kitchen, and did a very tidy job of filling the holes in the plaster. He also put up a towel rail in the kitchen. Outside, he repaired the doors on two garden sheds, so that they now close perfectly, and he made a flimsy wooden gate into a much stronger one.During his visit to give an estimate he pointed out that the French windows fitted perfectly, it was only because they hadn't been closed properly that there was a draughty gap at the top. So he saved us the expense of having the hinges repaired when it wasn't necessary.His prompt response to queries before his visit and his timekeeping for the repairs appointment were excellent.

What a waste of time. JHF Home Maintenance asked for my credit card details to ensure we were in for the quotation appointment window (2 hours). They arrived late for that appointment, with no call or message to let us know. When they arrived, no initial apology for the late arrival was offered. We were told we would have a quote by the following Wednesday, a week on from then and still nothing. The fact they wanted my credit card information to ensure I wouldn’t wast their valuable time, but they thought nothing of wasting ours. I would suggest you look elsewhere for a reliable contractor.
