Shuhari Martial Arts is a great club to join for all members of the family. It covers the principles, etiquette and discipline of Karate and adds effective techniques from other styles (BBJ, Judo, Wing Chun, Muay Thai). There are also various other locations to train at (Windsor, Maidenhead, Slough, Bracknell to name a few) so you can pick a location closer to you. All the instructors are as helpful as they are passionate and you can see from the standards of the students they are very good at what they do! Not many clubs have been around for more than 13 years, and the maturity of the club shows as does the quality of the instructors. Don't hesitate to join today!

Brilliant club - Shuhari is one of the best martial arts clubs out there - a fantastic awesomekarate based mixed martial arts club which includes practicing all the besttechniques involving punches, elbows, kicks, knees, grappling, sweeps & throws, etc. All classes start with a good stretch & warm up to begin with. Moves & techniques including from other disciplines are openly discussed, analysed & practiced. The Sensei's, Sempei's & trainer's at allthe dojos are absolutely fantastic & work with you to get the best out of you.There is a set syllabus which is followed & good comradery with other students. One of the best martial arts clubs outthere.

The Windsor dojo is a great place to train. It’s really welcoming, and ideal for anyone new to martial arts or if you have trained before. The class is a great mixture of adults and kids. Which is ideal if you want to learn self defence as a family. I still love training and learning whilst trying to sharpen my techniques every week!

It’s a place I would recommended to everyone any age and gender , everyone is very respectful and caring , so much to learn every week, they also train people to be trainers and run detailed senpai program .Highly recommended.

I used to train regularly at the Windsor dojo of Shuhari in addition to the Slough and Langley ones, depending on what day of the week I wanted to train, which is one of the good things about the club, you have choices of day and location, you can also train under multiple instructors if you go on different days, and with different students, to round out your training or to fit your schedule. Like most classes there's a mix of kids and adults, male and female so it's accessible and inclusive. The standards and syllabus are standardised, and the same ethos of pragmatic self defence, respect and hard work with fun exists whether you train in Slough, Windsor, Bracknell or Maidenhead. I mostly train in Slough now but enjoyed the Windsor days.

I've been training with the club for over 4 years with my 13yo son after moving from west London. It's been great getting active and learning new life skills together and even more importantly, the martial arts being taught has helped him grow more confident in responding to confrontation at school (something that now no longer happens as a result!). My 8yo daughter has been with the club for almost 2 years and it has given her a great outlet for all her extra energy!The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable, the training is suitable for all ages and abilities and it is the highlight of our week.Thank you Shuhari!
