Christine is a wonderful hostess who goes out of her way to help, and the rooms are large and clean with beautiful views. There is a wide variety of food for breakfast and cooked breakfasts are cooked to perfection. Highly recommend a visit here.

Spent 1 night here whilst cycling NCN1. Lovely clean rooms, great breakfast and excellent host. The nearest town for pubs and food is a few miles away but the host arranged a lift for us. Very helpful!

Rooms big and very clean. Breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choice. Situated on the Coast and Castles cycle path/national cycle route 1. Christine is a perfect hostess and is happy to store cycles in her garage. Covid precautions were all in place. Her Bowen therapy treatments are very relaxing.

Charming, clean, quiet. What more could you ask after walking a good number of miles on St Cuthbert's Way.Very kindly received a lift to the Black Bull for supper.....see separate review, very disappointed with both the food and the loud 120bpm music!!Back for a good, comfortable night's sleep followed by a lovely breakfast.
