I used Mute Soundproofing to soundproof my consulting room. Oliver was very thorough in measuring up and advising on a bespoke solution. I am delighted with the end product - it is effective, neat and can be taken with me once I leave these rooms. This set the company apart from all the other sound proofing companies I had approached. The installation was done reliably at the end of the year as promised. Highly recommended.

I've used Mute Soundproofing a couple of times now as my flat is in a Victorian conversion which had no sound insulation. Oliver and his team recently installed an independent ceiling system in my kitchen. Prior to the work being done I could hear conversations from the flat upstairs. Since the work, I can't hear anything and it's transformed my experience of living here and I wish I'd done it years ago! Saj and Merlin, who carried out the work, were friendly, professional and helpful at all times and they always left the site tidy. Oliver is honest about what might be achieved by the work proposed but this surpassed my expectations. I would have no reservations in recommending Mute Soundproofing.

An excellent experience, I would highly recommend Mute Soundproofing. The job (soundproofing a front door) was carried out very professionally with the upmost care. Oliver, Saj and Merlin are reliable, friendly, tidy, hardworking and went the extra mile. The solution was customised to my situation including bespoke handmade pieces such as a new soundproof letterbox. There was great attention to detail by getting the finish 100% perfect but retaining maximum soundproofing. I am extremely happy with the result.

We live next to a busy road, so noise in our top floor extension from vehicles and planes was affecting our sleep. Mute Soundproofing installed soundproofing to the walls and ceiling, plus acoustic secondary windows. This has made an enormous difference, so that now we can barely hear noise from outside. Oliver was helpful and responsive at all stages. He explained the options, listened to us throughout, and was very patient as we explored different possibilities. He and his team were quick, tidy and quiet, and coped with the inevitable surprises when you renovate an old building.Mute Soundproofing are not the cheapest, but we think it was well worth paying for the high quality of their solution and the professional, friendly and personal service we enjoyed throughout.

We had an excellent experience working with Mute, soundproofing our house. Oliver was thoughtful, communicative and reassuring throughout the process and his team were also extremely expert and reliable. We have had brilliant results from the soundproofing installed and would highly recommend Mute to anyone searching for a similar service.

If I could give more stars, I would. We moved into an old Victorian house and the walls are pretty paper thin - we could hear our neighbours TV clearly and they talk very loudly so their conversations were clear.Mute came over and gave an honest assessment of what they could do and what we should expect. They were more expensive than others but the reviews were excellent and they seemed more professional so we went with them. It took almost a week to build a new wall slightly in front of our current wall. They were friendly whilst here and seemed to know what they were doing. They also looked into the areas above and below the wall to make sure no noise got through.I've left it a few months to review so I could properly review the results. We can still hear them from the hallway but in the living room we have never heard a thing from next door again. Even by putting an ear to the wall you can hear nothing. I feel like it is some of the best money I've ever spent. I'm pretty noise sensitive so it was stressful to hear so much noise every night. Now that has gone and couldn't be happier with the results.

We've had our bedroom soundproofed by Mute (amplified music, slamming doors and stairs from next door) and have yet to test the results but the experience with Oliver and his guys was second to none. Oliver was great, listened properly to our concerns and was realistic about the kind of results we should expect, he was understanding about my sensitive ears, and totally professional throughout. I hope I'm not mis-spelling their names but Saj and Merlin were both amazing; always arriving on time and working super hard. We asked them to create an archway for us between 2 rooms as an extra task and they did such a brilliant job. We didn't consider that there would be exposed floor between the 2 rooms once the arch was built, and they came up with the solution to use some plywood, which they sanded to create a divider. They were both fantastic; friendly, polite, apologetic about the noise and their tools taking up space (we didn't mind!), tidying as they went, and took all the rubbish away with them, which was such a bonus. We used their plasterer Steve as well who was great, arrived on time and just got the job done. I honestly can't recommend Mute enough; we're going to see how the bedroom settles and unless the results aren't satisfactory (which I find unlikely) we'll hopefully get going on 2 other rooms sometime in the New Year, once again with Oliver and his team. I honestly can't recommend them enough. It took one week to get the whole room done from start to finish, and that was with our bed in their way! I have a very strong work ethic and I can't fault this experience in any way: excellent excellent service.

I installed soundproofing on the party walls of my Victorian terraced house (and also installed an acoustic door). Oliver was a genuine pleasure to work with - really helpful, very responsive and extremely professional. Perhaps most importantly, he was upfront and realistic about what I could expect the soundproofing to achieve and it works exactly as he said that it would. It has made an enormous difference to the experience of living in the house. I should add that I left Oliver and his team to undertake the work whilst I was away; Oliver kept me updated on progress throughout and they left the house tidy.
