Oyster Creek Moorings Ltd

Not really what I consider to be a marina. Rickety old jetty's line both sides of a muddy creek with boats moored against them. Boats only float at high tide so very limited access to estuary. Poor muddy an badly pot holed access road to far side moorings with no access to any electricity. Has some facilities like craneage and small hard for launching. When visiting the marina in January 2019 their was very limited parking and the moorings seemed to be fronted with old wrecks of craft that will never sail again surrounded by piles of rubbish and remains of broken wooden hulls. The whole place is in need of renovation.

Little gem of a place pointed out to me by a friend on a bike ride, we had coffee but I returned with my girlfriend after a stroll along the sea wall. We had sandwichs with proper thick bread and a cup of tea, staff were quick & friendly....recommended.

Its gone down hill. Full of druggies, rubbish and building waste. Such a shame because it used to be nice

Nice little boat yard for a takeaway coffee and a walk along sea front

Was there today don't know why its called a marina its a grave yard of boats tearoom was ?

Interesting marina on the site of the old Prout Catamaran production site. Good access to the Thames and North Sea.

Just done my powerboat level 2 course here and very usefull and a great teacher,highly recomended
