Ad Astra Cider – Ad Astra Cider Co | Ad Astra Cider is a new cider company based in the heart of Somerset. Founded by an RAF Veteran and his family, the name "Ad Astra" is proudly derived from the Royal Air Force motto "Per Ardua Ad Astra". Ad Astra Cider is made from traditional cider apples, picked, pressed and fermented within our beautiful orchard.

Paul and Suzanne are congenial hosts and the quiz night (1st Thurs of the month) never fails to be a fun filled night. The barn has become our go to hostelry in the local area. Guaranteed to convert non cider drinkers as well.

Brilliant new addition to the social scene here !. The owners are super friendly ( they happily accept & look after our 2 year old brilliantly !) and the drinks are well cared for and beautiful. Decent prices aswell in a great setting with animals and orchards. The quiz night is a brilliant one which is a full house every month !. Keep up the brilliant work ! Top marks.

Had a wonderful evening here. Paul and Suzanne are friendly and welcoming. I usually drink gin and tonic but swapped tonight for award winning cider which was great. Fun activities to do in the barn - darts, table tennis and other games. Can't wait to visit again when we are in the area. Tracy and Phil.

Went here for a quiz night to support Reach. Rustic and functional with chunky tables and chairs, camo nets, and bright lights (which were perfect to see the quiz questions well). Good medium cider and a scrumptious veggie chilli made for a fantastic evening with lovely friends, and we just avoided getting the wooden spoon for our lack of Disney knowledge!

Went here on a weekend whilst they presented ladies cricket team shirts. Great atmosphere. A lot of local love but we were also made to feel very welcome. Cider was delicious, especially like choice of sparkling or flat for the same cider. Food was simple but of excellent quality and good value for money. Will hopefully be back many many times

HUGE ploughman's lunch....Ad Astra cider for the other half beautiful apple juice for the driver. Me. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and you can see the next lot of cider waiting for bottling.

A friend introduced this to us this Bank Holiday, 13 of us ate some amazing home cooked food, we got a tour of how the cider is made and were made to feel very welcome. The barn is full of cider and loads of games, what’s not to like! Can’t wait to go back! Well done guys!
