I lost both my brother and my husband this year 2022 3 months apart and i cant thank Ally & Pete and all at Golden Valley Funeral services for their support kindness and the love and care they took looking after my loved ones .. We could visit anytime any day they were with us every step of the way with planning both funerals nothing was to much trouble for them ..The professionalism they showed along with the empathy kindness and care i highly recommend this independent funeral director something i have never found with the bigger funeral servicesThey are also their supporting us as a family with aftercare if neededI have instructed my family that when my time arrives i would not want anyone else to help me to my final resting place than Golden Valley Services

Ally and Pete were truly amazing. My father passed away earlier this year and they took care of everything. They helped guide us through the process and most importantly, to me, they made sure my mum’s concerns were addressed. So pleased we went with them and not a national chain, as the personal touches made all the difference. They were recommended to us by a friend of the family and in turn I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Pete and Ally were the best guides we could have hoped for through the process of honoring my Dad. Down to earth, friendly, compassionate -- they seemed to have endless time for us, and encouraged us to make decisions in our own time, to suit our needs. We were impressed with how well connected they were, and the guidance they gave us was unfailing. We now consider them friends, and recommend them enthusiastically.

I can highly recommend Golden Valley Funeral Services, they carried out my brother's funeral a few weeks ago and were very helpful taking me through all the processes that needed to be done.They were very kind, caring and compassionate. a lot of Keith's friends came up to me after the funeral and said that it was the best one they had ever attended which say's a lot about Ally and Peter who organised everything. They offer the best service by far, the took extremely good care of my father, when he past away earlier in the year, they helped and supported my mother through every decision and took care of all of my father's wishes for his funeral, they made everything a lot easier to cope with.Another of the other funeral services around Hereford, only offered partial help with everything, but Golden Valley Funeral Services helped with absolutely everything, even after the day of of my father's funeral, they continued to help my mother with everything.Big thanks to Golden Valley Funeral Services, for all you've done.

Could not ask for better people to take care of my partner. Peter and Ally you were amazing in everything you did. You are very compassionate, thoughtful and considerate you showed a great deal of empathy. You looked after us so well and it made a huge difference to get us through the service. I sadly lost my dear son tragically on New Year's Eve 2022. I was recommended Pete and Ally at Golden Valley Funeral Services by a friend. The compassion and kindness they have given our family is immeasurable.I have been so comforted to know that my dear son Oliver has been in their loving care. His funeral service has been arranged with the utmost care, thought and attention to detail. A very personal service which would be impossible to find elsewhere. Nothing has been too much trouble and all my worries taken care of. I was so proud to have Golden Valley Funeral Services attend to everything on the day. The kindness and care shown to me, helped me get through the hardest day of my life. They have become very dear friends and are still there to support me with my grief.I can't praise them enough, they are wonderful and just the sort of people you need beside you at times of utter despair.

This is an outstanding service. They gave both me and the family, including my deceased husband, the care and kindness we needed. I was happy to leave all the arrangements to Ally and Pete and they took the weight off our shoulders. Everything was done beautifully and with enormous care and sensitivity. A special mention here for the flowers for the coffin - they were exactly what I chose and really delightful. Pete and Ally thank you so much. X
