Canterbury Ghost Tours

5 star plus.John our guide, was very knowledgeable on both the ghosts of Canterbury and the history of it too.He has many tales to tell, and is very humorous. We were giggling throughout the tour. In fact I would go as far to say that he could possibly have a great stand-up routine if he was so inclined.I learned a lot during our time with him as John is quite a learned man.An evening in the streets of Canterbury.If you are visiting Canterbury any time soon, then this is a must.An excellent tour and highly recommended.

Had a great time learning some of the history of Canterbury, John was a fantastic host who interacted with the audience, some of the more sensitive among us may not enjoy this brand of humour but that's on them!Would recommend to anyone looking for a light-hearted experience learning about some gruesome history

John was a great story teller with frightening jump scares! The audience engagement was good and I appreciate he came out in freezing temperatures. I can see why some people may have been offended by the jokes as some were a little bit old fashioned but overall it was a great experience, we learnt a lot about the history of Canterbury, would recommend.

My sister gifted me this Ghost Tour for my birthday and I loved it. The tour twisted and turned through the dark streets of Canterbury as John brought its gruesome history to life. It was great hearing about Canterbury’s dark past, and actually taking the time to stop and observe it, rather than jostle quickly through its streets as I often do. The route is flat, on chiefly cobbled streets, and involves gentle walking for over an hour. The tales are told with humour and passion and John is clearly very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.

Lee was a great guide and narrator. On top of that, he always was able to remain focused and keep the mood light / engaging - even despite rude tourists in the group who kept speaking very loudly in German to each other throughout the tour (making it difficult for the rest of us); and some random big gangster guys walking past who were very aggressive to Lee. He handled it all like a true pro!

Amazing storytelling, gruesome without being overly so, informative and engaging with some comic relief along the way. Would surely recommend to tourists and Canterbury veterans alike!

John was entertaining, witty and informative. His jokes were not for the faint-hearted and at times ran a little long but he clearly has a love and passion for history and Canterbury that shone through. I did think there would be more paranormal aspects but did appreciate the jump scares and spooky tales. We also did this tour on a Saturday night and John handled the rowdy drunks effortlessly. Really enjoyable! Thanks John ❤️

Fantastic ghost tour with John. Highly informative and super funny. Felt at ease asking questions and John kept the tour interesting. My friend, son and I, had a great time so thank-you John for a brilliant time!
