Hackney Fine Arts

Brilliant art club with a brilliant team of artists teaching fine art drawing and painting. Noel and the team of teachers are very professional and friendly. My daughter loves the sessions so much that it's hard to get her to leave at the end of a session. We her parents, our family and friends are very impressed with the work she is able to produce. We highly recommend Hackney Fine Arts Club. It builds the kids' confidence and really helps them develop their ability to draw and paint. We feel very fortunate that our daughter has access to such good quality teaching.

Wonderful after school painting classes for kids. Noel and her team are incredibly talented, inspiring and patient. Children copy artworks in stages, learning drawing and painting techniques whilst working on one painting over an extended period of time. They learn to really focus and pay attention to what they can see. The extraordinary results are worth the effort and wait - beautiful, detailed paintings for everyone to be proud of. 10/10. Signing up early is recommended as the waiting list is almost as incredible as the paintings

We were recommend to check out this art class a couple years ago and immediately signed up! It continues to be be a totally awesome experience for Jarvis which he looks forward to every week. Noel is an absolutely brilliant teacher, so great with the kids and her team rock as well! The supportive, community aspect of the classes is super special and we are so grateful to be part of it. This is an absolute gem of an after-school class which both my daughters adore and have attended for years. Artworks start off as detailed charcoal drawings and are then then turned into paintings, which can take months to complete. This process teaches children patience, focus and perseverance, as well as fabulous technical fine art skills. The structured approach to teaching gives children confidence in their drawing and painting abilities, and Noel and her team are all really lovely, kind and encouraging. The artworks that the children produce are of a jaw-droppingly high quality. I love what my children have done so much that I've joined the adult class! Thank you to all!

I have been coming to this fine art drawing and painting adult class for the last 2.5 years now and it’s absolutely fantastic. I can’t recommend it enough. I used to paint a tiny bit about 25 years ago and then started again by joining the class and have definitely rediscovered my love for painting. The teachers are so professional, friendly, fun and brilliant and get the best out of you. You learn about different techniques when approaching a charcoal drawing and acrylic painting and also what to look for in a painting and how to read it. It’s a really amazing art course!

My daughter absolutely loves each and every session she has been to. I think this is due to the calm setting, friendly staff members and her overall passion for art. The time and dedication taken by Noel and her team to help teach and guide their students to creating masterpieces is just amazing and I will always continue to use the service for as long as my daughter is a keen artist! I, myself have never been artistic by any means but I have been considering taking some of the adult classes that are on offer, so watch this space!!!

Truly excellent art classes for children that teach the fundamentals of drawing and painting in a positive and nurturing environment while fostering high standards.The new space is beautiful, filled with natural light.Classes are always incredibly well organised. One of my children goes regularly, the other only for the half-term / school holiday courses.Even with a large gap between classes (for child 2), the teachers know exactly where students are up to -- and what needs to be taught next.Highly recommend!!!

Finally a serious art club for children! My daughter loves it. I am amazed on how she shows patience and don’t mind correcting and improving her strokes, and learning drawing, shading and painting techniques in the process. The end result is incredible and very gratifying for the children. Cilka would not miss a session! Warmly recommend to any children: thanks to Noel they will learn that anyone can draw and paint like a pro!

My daughter has been attending art class for a while now and we couldn’t be happier. Fine art for children- this is no ordinary art class! Noel and her team are a dream team. Their skill set is something else. What they manage to achieve with young people is more than impressive. The classes are highly professional and highly motivating, and take place in a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere that is conducive to learning.I cannot recommend them enough. Hackney is lucky to have Hackney Fine Arts yet I would encourage others to travel to be witness to the magic that happens in the studio.

I loved these art classes and only regret that I can’t keep attending due to moving away! The Sunday morning class in particular had such supportive teachers, a relaxed atmosphere and an approach that put me, a total beginner, at ease. It’s an amazing way to rediscover art again as an adult but in a guided, educated yet fun way.
