Now I thought customer service was a thing of the past. But it is definitely not the case. Visited Essington mobility in Hednesford on Saturday. First of all would like to say not enough stars to give. This company deserves 10 stars. Went this morning to buy a mobility scooter for my wife. Amanda was absolutely brilliant, very friendly and demonstrated the scooter without fault. I would really recommend this company to anyone. 10 out of 10 for everything. Including friendliness, customer service and knowledge on the products.

Had a stair lift fitted as an urgent request in May this year after contacting the Hednesford team. It was fitted professionally and was both modern and compact but economic too. Thankyou to the team at the Hednesford branch, I wish I had purchased one sooner. Amazing help

Excelent service received from Essington mobility. Although they couldn't deal with stairlift issue themselves, they made contact with an engineer on our behalf that was able to carry out the repair.Thank you again for the help, it is very much appreciated.

I happened (by chance) upon Essington's shop in Hednesford high street while I was trying to get my mom used to a mobility scooter that had been sitting in her garage for a number of years.I was a little concerned that the scooter may have had a few hidden issues that could be hindering its current operability, or cause issues in the future.The lovely lady in the shop, Amanda, was very understanding, helpful, and gave me all the information I needed to get in touch with Essington's workshop in Walsall to discuss a full service.I called them the same day and spoke to Debbie—who was just as helpful and thoughtful as Amanda—and arranged for the mobility scooter to be picked up the following week.We discussed all costs and options up front and I was given an impartial explanation of the services available. Not once did I feel that I was being 'sold' a service, rather, I was being advised on the best course of action suit my mom's needs.After several follow-up phone calls detailing the scooter's condition and the amount of work required, they returned the scooter two days before the predicted date.My mom's first reaction was, 'It looks brand new!!'She now has a big part of her independence restored, as well as her confidence to travel further afield on the scooter. I also have peace of mind that in the event of an unforeseen future issues, my mom can contact Essington for guidance and support.I returned to the original Hednesford store to thank Amanda and the team (Debbie, Steve, and Andy), and say how happy my mom was with the finished result. I also enquired about the possibility of insurance, what to do in the event of a breakdown, and future maintenance.Unsurprisingly, the level of aftercare was just as impressive and attentive as every other stage of process. This further assuaged any of my concerns.Overall, the level of communication, transparency, care, and customer service from start to finish was exemplary and unrivalled by anything else I have experienced in recent memory.I cannot recommend Essington and their team enough.

The lady in the shop is so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, she really helped me understand the options for my Mom who is 84 and has mobility issues.
