Traditional Sunday Lunch was lovely only fault more potatoes than vegService was good .very shy young waiter was charming but couldn't tell the difference between pork and chicken.. experienced staff were wonderful in supporting him. Which lead to a lovely quiet relaxed atmosphere

Called in by chance today for lunch have to say it didn't disappoint the food was fabulous, I tried the fish pie with veg it was very filling, my husband had the steak baguette with mozzarella. The staff very friendly. If I didn't live so far away I would visit it very frequently.

Been coming here years ,the food is nice and usually a good portion .recently though I have noticed the prices are higher but the portion size has gone down.it's still a nice pub with nice food but if it goes up anymore or the sizes go down I probably would go elsewhere

We called in on the spur of the moment. And very glad we did.Extremely good food. And quite a varied choice too.Extremely pleasant staff. Especially since they are all very young and at varied levels of experience.Definitely to be recommended. And we absolutely will be making further visits

Roast beef dinner was very good, service was friendly and quick and the place was nicely busy with a great atmosphere. The two course Sunday roast is good value, the apple and berry crumble with custard was fantastic. Will definitely be back again.

Absolutely Amazing food, my second visit, came at Christmas as my dear 90 year old friend had recommended it, Staff were really nice and welcoming, from start to finish, our orders were place and we didn't seem to wait long before the very tasty freshly cooked food was brought to our table, worth tge drive from Knottingley, will definitely be back again, dessert were home made and very yummy to finish off our meal 10 out of 10

Best meal out for a long time. Traditional Roast Dinner so tasty. Loads of meat nothing too much trouble. Lovely to see as well younger members of staff being encouraged to do their role by a lovely chap with a beard. ( sorry didn't get him name a true leader) will defo be back

Went in for lunch on the off chance whilst working in the area. Had the giant Yorkshire pudding and beef (on the waitress’s recommendation) and a pint of Black Sheep, both really good!!

Great little place. Food is excellent and made even better still when accompanied by an ice cold crafted beer. Nice little seating area outside although you do get the traffic noise from the by pass. Defiantly worth a visit
