Yesterday we picked up 4 beautiful birds (a Orpington Buff, a Black tail, a Rhondda Blue and Sussex Pont) to add to our new and young flock. They are beautiful birds and Chris and his wife were so helpful and kind. As we are new to this we had A LOT of questions and they were so kind to answer them all and did not rush us at all. Will definitely be returning for more hens when the time is right for us.

Brilliant place, got 4 healthy hens off them a good few weeks ago. Very fair prices and extremely knowledgeable farmers, who gave us very good advice about nutrition and such on purchase. Would 100% recommend.

We bought 6 hens from Chris 6 weeks ago & the service was amazing. 3 weeks in he messaged to say I’ve seen a picture & one may be a cockerel it happens a few times a year if so bring it back I’ll swap it.So three weeks later we here it gearing up it’s voice cockododel doing, we drop Chris a call true to his word no issue pop up Sat we will like for like swap it. Whilst there we decided to add two more to our flock & was advised how to introduce to our established flock. All in all quality birds fairly priced amazing advice & service.

First time duck owners, I’m not really the brightest with care when it comes to ducks however the guys up at Welshpoultry were brilliant, they were polite and very informative, I called back up with some concerns about how to look after the ducks and they set my mind at ease and helped with so much.Will 100% come back when it’s time for my next adventure.Thank you very much

I suffer from anxiety and depression and have difficulty going outside because of these. A friend suggested that I keep a couple of chickens as a way of getting me into the very overgrown garden as I have a overwhlming desire to ensure every animal in my care has an amazing life, and this would ensure I went outside, and got something back fron the choocks in return. ( fusses as well as eggs). I did a huge amount of research and pestered Welsh poultry via email for months before I decided to get a small flock of four chickens. Unfortunitely covid had hit at this point and I couldn't collect as I was 'vunerable'. Welsh Poultry kept me informed of what they had in stock and as soon as I was able I went up and collected my 4 which were all different breeds but all the ones that they considered more friendly. I have had my girls for a year and a half now and they are wonderful friends. I have had no health problems and no sign of mites which can only mean they never came with any and have had a ton of knowledge. I cannot reccomend these guys highly enough from their helpfulness and friendliness, to the quality of their product (Ginger told me to write that, she is vain). Thanks guys.

If your looking for chickens for your garden, this is the place. The owner Chris is very knowledgeable and very helpful. The farm is quite hard to find, even with Google maps. When you enter Stanleytown turn right up the hill at the start of Upper Terrace, and a narrow single lanes takes you up the hill to the farm.

We were dealt with by Chris... Very helpful and informative. Extremely reasonable pricing. You can tell he works really hard and he cares about the birds. You won't be disappointed if you want face to face, quality service. This will be our first port of call for any future poultry purchases. Thank you Chris.

Fantastic service from this local poultry breeder. We are new to raising chickens and they were both friendly and helpful and extremely knowledgeable. We are now the proud owners of 2 young hens, a Rhondda black and a Rhondda blue. Both healthy friendly and active. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this business to anyone. We will surely be back when the time comes to expand the flock.
