Amazing place. Tucked away off the main road. Staff were brilliant and let us put our hammocks up in the carpark.

Had a lovely stay here over the Easter break with a few friends. The drying room was great allowing us to go out the next day in dry waterproof which we needed. Breakfast was well worth the extra cost. Staff were lovely. Will definitely be back.

We rented the whole place out and it was perfect for a weekend out on the moors with a group. The place was perfect for cooking, eating and socialising in between trips out during the day, which it's ideally located for being near some of my favorite places on Dartmoor.

Stayed here for 1 night in August 2021 on our way to see friends down in Cornwall and it was lovely. The views and photos you can get from this place are sick. Lovely walk nearby. The hostel itself had a nice communal kitchen and living room with comfy beds. Wish to come here again. Plus free WiFi

Camped here and had a thoroughly excellent time - pizzas and beer in the evening and walking and swimming during the day. Friendly hosts. They just need to sort out the serious amount of sheep droppings in the camping field. I guess most people book rooms but still . . .

We loved this hostel, we received an amazing warm welcome from lovely people. The accommodation was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was excellent.

A group of us stayed here whilst on a cycling trip. The staff were amazing, we had a fantastic meal waiting for us and the bar was fully stocked. They cooked me a vegan meal which was amazing. The rooms were clean and showers hot! Overall a great stay and I would highly recommend 5*
