First Aid for Life

Attended and completed their teens first aid course a few weeks back, and despite having gone in with the impression I was going to be bored throughout the session, I was pleasantly surprised at how interesting and enjoyable the course actually was. Our instructor was coherent and detailed as she guided us through the first aid, additionally I enjoyed the practical side of the course when we got to use the cpr dummies and defibrillators- which prior to that day I must admit I knew nothing about. Overall I felt very accomplished following the session knowing I had gained important knowledge for my own health and others , and am confident that I could apply such beneficial skills in future situations if I ever had to.

Even though this was a refresher course for me, I found the day very informative and productive and useful for when a first aid incident might occur. The instructor was very good and she took the time to hear our questions and give useful examples when answering. She was patient with us and friendly. I'd recommend this company to anyone wanting to learn first aid or indeed have a refresher like me.

Had a great session with Peter. He was extremely knowledgable about First Aid and, thanks to his passions, enthusiasm, and ability to deal with often challenging questions really inspired me to do my best during the training. I now feel ready to administer first aid in a range of situations and I have a much deeper understanding of the injuries that can happen with the type of sports I practice. Wonderful one day course! Pet safety, specifically Dog First Aid, was delivered in great detail in an appropriate location. Our trainer Lucy was patient with our never ending questions. I feel much more safe in my dog business at this stage, as well as having good understanding of other domestic pets safeguarding for my personal life.

The course was excellent. Jenny was a great teacher who managed to cover everyone’s particular needs really well. She explained things clearly and was really engaging. I would highly recommend

Great session. Very experienced tutor and really liked the chance to do some of the procedures in practice. By the end of the session I felt much more confident using the techniques covered should the need arise.

A very thorough course led by the wonderful Glen who was extremely knowledgeable and delivered the training impeccably. The key messages were repeated constantly with Glen able to hold a high level of engagement/participation for all. Great overview for dog guardians! Highlevel 3hr overview of the most important dog health tips with a certified vet nurse. Loads of time to ask questions and practice the basics. Dogwalkers and dog daycarers/boarders probably need a longer or in-depth overview but this was fantastic and what I needed.

Did First Aid course with these guys, Glen was our instructor, and it was fantastic. Well paced, very clear, lots of time for questions and practice. Even though it is 3 hours in a classroom, Glen managed to make the time zip along with humour and interaction. And, for me, he really helped cement the critical steps by explaining the very simple logic behind the order of things and the triage that DRSABC takes you through. Can’t recommend these guys highly enough.
