Walsh has just looked after me organising my 1st funeral for my grandma. I went to the Idle Road branch. Kathryn is lovely and so informative and helpful. she has helped me every step of the way. I really liked the fact that she got to know me and helped me handle the arrangements doing everything my way and sometimes with laughs and humour. (my humour) Katie was so helpful on the day of the funeral. I hadn't even been to a funeral for 10 years so organising one was daunting for me but Walsh made it a lot easier going above and beyond helping me with all the information I needed. I would highly recommend them for their professionalism and making a difficult time easier for me.

Kathryn from the first day of contact was a saviour to our family. Her calm and friendly voice took the stress out of arranging the funeral of our family member. She always kept us informed together with making sure that we were okay. On the actual day of the funeral Craig took over from Katheryn and the care for everyone concerned just carried on. My best friend died in May of this year and I was given the privilege of organizing her funeral. The moment I spoke to James I knew I was in the right place. He has compassion , kindness , empathy and understanding in abundance which made working with him at such an emotionally charged time so much easier to navigate. He guided me as to where I needed to go and listened intently, ensuring he fully grasped any situation and was therefore able guide myself and the other members involved. I truly believe that he was as invested in making sure that Sue got the best funeral possible and to facilitate that ensured attention to even the smallest detail.At these difficult times a little can seem a lot , and a lot very little. I felt he walked by our sides, held our hands and we felt safe in our trust of James and his equally excellent team. Funerals are painfully essential parts of the equally painful grieving process and choosing the right funeral director serves only to make the funeral as least traumatic as possible. It became very apparent that James and his team had everything in hand, and very compassionately encouraged us to complete all that was necessary to action our final goodbye.After the funeral we were so surprised to receive a beautiful reminder of the essence of the funeral in the form of a memorial book in the memory of Sue filled with her images and photographs of the gorgeous floral tributes and all cards attached, thus giving us all an opportunity after the event to reflect on the sentiment of the day.Our gratitude and respect for James and his team knows no bounds.
