Whilst staying nearby my family and I went here two nights for dinner. We had a few different starters, kids had a lovely garlic ciabatta, the Brie and mushrooms were also excellent. I had chicken wings and they were slightly overcooked. The mains we had over the two nights were great, the burger was fantastic and the chicken stack was good. The kids pizza was really good although my daughter had a hotdogs and the finger roll was not fresh and quite hard.The staff were excellent and the service was brilliant so I would definitely go back if I was in the area.

Excellent food, clean, prompt service the food arrived quickly and all the various dishes arrived together. Everything you want when dining out. We had a long table and it was difficult to hear what the people at the far end were saying but that was because we were a large group with a load of kids. So the 3 stars for atmosphere is not a mark down it was quite satisfactory. Recommendation? Well we went back the next day and took my son and his wife. So take that as a yes!

Very bland food. Staff were friendly enough though could learn to smile when chatting. Do think I would go again.

Great food and friendly staff. Staying close by for the weekend and was recommended to us Normally I take decent photos of the food but it was so nice I got stuck into it and forgot lol so the ones added don't do it justice at all.Duck in orange sauce was great and the garlic potatoes the best I've had. Full of cream and cheese sauce. Will def be back

The food was great, and there was plenty on the plate. Nice restaurant, not too fussy. Toilets were well maintained and clean.

Lovely setting but they made it obvious they did not welcome a large group of 46. I had booked it weeks before and picked the simplest menu. What should have been easy was far from nice. The turkey was dry cold, carrots and parsnips were mashed but still had water in them and cool like the rest of the dinner. The cheese cake was definitely not made that day as the base was soggy. The staff were lovely but the person in charge was far from friendly and when I went to pay I didn't get a smile never mind a, thankyou

I had an exceptionally beautiful Sunday lunch here, staff were very courteous and attentive, a very pleasant dining experience.
