Nant Newydd Caravan Park

Stayed end of may 2022; Nice site, it has potential but the facilities are far too inadequate for the number of people they allow to stay. The toilets for example werent cleaned enough & we found on two occasions had overflowed (assume due to overuse?) meaning everyone had to use the further toilet/ shower block, resulting in ques.Rules are not enforced, dogs were regularly off their leads and on 5 occasions came to our tent to see our dog or eat his food.I advise you check reviews/ call site next year as they are in the process of building new shower/ toilet blocks apparently and this would no doubt help!!!!

Absolute blast of a bank holiday weekend at Nant Newydd. We had 3 tents / electric hook up for 4 nights.Pro’s… the kids play areas, the new clean decent showers / toilets / washing up block. The outdoor heated pool! We were happy with getting 2 early sessions at the pool. Kids loved it! Staff in reception were lovely, so welcoming and helpful. Guys going around the site showing your location we’re fab, always tidying up, keeping the area clean. There were picnic benches around that you could bring to your pitch. The grounds are well kept, beautiful gardens, sculptures, planting etc.Con’s… nothing too drastic, top field could do with a toilet block so it’s not so far for the little ones to go! Wifi doesn’t work, so I felt I shouldn’t have been sold it.But otherwise it’s perfect and we will absolutely book again. Diolch yn fawr.

This is a lovely site very well kept and tidy, pool is also a great feature however was left feeling disappointed by the staff as most interactions with them made me feel as though I was a nuisance. We were asked to move our ‘commercial van’ at around 8pm on our first night which we were not made aware of when we arrived and had lots of our essentials in the van, when we advised we are unable to move the van the man in the Land Rover defender would not give us eye contact for the rest of the weekend. We also called at 8am on Sunday morning to ask if we could use the pool, it was clear that I had woken up the member of staff with my call as he was very short and advised ‘it’s only 8 in the morning’ I appreciate you advising me of the time but we have a 3 year old who was very excited to use the pool and was yet again made to feel like a nuisance. Would return to this site if it wasn’t for the staff.

After arriving for a family and friend 3 night stay. We were looking forward for our annual camping trip. There were 6 adults. 7 children. We were all pitched together which was great. After arriving and booking in. The lady behind reception, clearly needs a new job. Talk about customer service.....we never got the chance to experience this. We were told rules. (Yes rules) which We all abided by. However, after being told our commercial van wasn't aloud to be parked next to our tent (again unsure why because we were surrounded by motor homes and 4 by 4s.) This was a van that was being used as a fridge for food etc. And essentials we didn't want to get wet in the weather.We left to go to asda down the road on the 2nd day. After arriving back, we were left in the car at reception. We had to ring reception up to again be dismissed and royally spoken to like we were a pain. The lady in reception has no people skills. No patience. And no customer service.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location was fabulous. (Kids loved the pool) was brilliant being in the great outdoors. But after the service we recieved we won't be comin back in the future.Tip...... build some toilets in the tent fields. May stop some of the grass gettin disturbed with bad weather having to drive down to use the toilets. Especially with young children.

Just spend the easter bank holiday weekend here and we loved every minute of it. I can see why they have so many seasonal pitches and returning customers. The unspoiled views we’re lovely to wake up to and even better to watch the sunset. The toilet and shower block looked brand new and we’re very clean every time we used them. The kids loved the play parks and visiting the highland cows in the field at the site entrance. The caravan pitches were difficult to get onto but the staff were more than happy to help getting you on. Overall we loved our stay and would book again.

Great clean campsite. Playground and pool brilliant for children but it would be nice if pool could be open later. New shower/toilet block great. Good location to explore the area. Staff seemed helpful.

We've just camped here for 5 nights. Terrific location. Very helpful staff and beautiful and clean site. Swimming pool on site but needs to be booked during the hot days. Kids football pitch, basketball and arcade. My boys loved it and we didn't want to come home. Thanks for the stay and can't wait to return.

Peaceful camp and caravan site with new modern facilities. Good play park for all ages of children. Great swimming pool.

Rude staff. Drains arround the edge of the pool smelt like sulphur. Told we would get chucked off
