National Treatment Centre - Highland

I had hip replacement surgery on 29 May, and I will never forget the wonderful staff who looked after me, pre my operation, during the operation and following the operation!! From Mr. Michels and his team in the Operating Theatre, to all the nursing staff, cleaning staff, canteen staff and administration staff. I went in for a full knee replacement and I can't begin to express the care and kindness of the staff. The surgeon and his team were so friendly but professional. The after care from the nurses and physio nurses was second to none. The place is kept spotless by the cleaners. You can tell everyone is happy at their work as soon as you go in. My mum was in the Treatment Centre from the 15th to the 17th of August 2023, for a hip replacement operation. All the staff from the doctors and nurses down to the staff in the cafe were amazing and I can't fault them one bit. My brother was coming to pick us up and hot lost because non of us know Inverness coming ftom Aberdeenshire so when he phoned me for directions, I found a nurse and she gave him the directions to the Treatment centre she stayed on the phone with him till he found us.The only thing I would suggest is that there could be a bank machine for patients and visitors to be able to draw out cash, if needed also a vending machine for drinks snacks and maybe a sandwich for when the cafe is closed.Also I really can't fault any of the staff at all they were wonderful with my mum who by the way is 89 years old they all looked after her wonderfully well.

Visit to opthalmology outpatient department.Modern bright airy building on large pleasant green campus area of Inverness. Helpful and kind staff.
