Unravel & Unwind CIC

Learnig to Crochet is a challenge which is fantastic or me. My first project was crocheting a bumblebee, now making a Daisy blanket. Fayre the tutor is amazing. The group is so friendly. Can't wait till I go to my next class xx

Had a very uncomfortable and weird experience at this store today at around 4pm. I entered the store wanting to seek more information about the crocheting classes advertised in the window of the store and wanting to buy some crocheting equipment. When I entered the store, I wasn’t greeted by anyone and was completely ignored. I wasn’t sure who was staff within the store, so had no idea who to ask for help. I wanted to buy quite a few items and even picked up some items, but, as a beginner I wasn’t sure which items would be best for me like for example, what size hook to get. I was not approached even after having some items in my hands. I looked around to see who I could identify as staff, there were some school children around an adult. However, the adult again, was completely ignoring my presence. This made me feel very uncomfortable and I felt unwelcomed and decided to return the items in my hands and left the shop. It’s unfortunate that I have had this experience, as this is my local knitting/crotchet shop and was initially really excited when I found it. They need to do better with customer service.

Amazing place, so warm and welcoming all the staff are so helpful and kind. There is always someone to greet you when you walk through the door, it's such a bright and open shop compared what it used to be :)

Amazing store. I love how equally welcoming they are to new and old customers.I especially love how safe they make me feel when I have been unwell mentally.They have also helped keep me safe and have enjoyed being taught to crochet which has given me an immense boost in my confidence. I would be lost without them.

What a lovely shop! Its so open and spacious and there's such a welcoming and friendly environment. They go above and beyond for every customer. It's so nice to have such a brilliant shop in the area, thank you so much!

The shop is now bright and spacious, with a very good range of stock. Faye, Mark and Raven are very friendly and lovely people and nothing is too much trouble for them. If they don't have what you want in stock they are very happy to get it in for you. They do a range of classes ie knitting and crochet. I attend the crochet group on a Wednesday night form 7pm-9pm. The group is very friendly. I don't feel like I'm going to a class I feel like I'm going to see friends have a chat with a bit of crochet thrown in for good measures. I would highly recommend unravel & Unwind for all your crafting needs.

A lovely, warm place with a definitive family feel. Wheelchair and pushchair friendly, aside from the bathroom being upstairs which can likely be excused due to building regulations and this being a small business with limited sway over such things.Kind staff who have their hearts in the crafts, they seem to know what they're talking about and offer alternatives and advice if they don't have what you're looking for. I always feel safe and welcomed here, even at the end of the day when they're just closing up.
