I really hope to visit one day but in the meantime I have had the most wonderful starter kit for weaving delivered. Everything in the kit is perfect. The instructions are clear the materials are of a great quality. Siobhan has been so helpful when I’ve contacted to ask for assistance. A wonderful company and the best beginning for a new creative escape from lockdown.

I bought a weaving kit from Shiv Textiles and have had such a great time with it! The booklet was very easy to understand and the variety of colours or thread and fabric really sparked my imagination. The loom and tools all look great also, lovely quality.

I went to a weaving tasting session on Saturday with a few friends. I didn't know what to expected but throughly enjoy the whole process, was lovely to use my hands and concentrate on something other then a screen. Highly recommend this activity and you even get a nice little momentum of your creativity

I have bought a purse with a beautiful moth pattern on it from Shiv last December as a gift to myself and I am absolutely LOVING IT. I thought it wouldn't work for me as an everyday wallet but I actually use it exclusively every single day now haha! It's sturdy, high quality, the design is super effective and I love the pattern more and more every day. I also had many compliments on the purse from friends and strangers alike! I will definitely be looking into purchasing something else from Shiv soon :)

Being TERRIBLE at knitting I wasn't sure I'd be able to exit Shiv's workshop with a finished piece... however Shiv was amazing at explaining each step and the looms she provided were excellent for keeping my weave consistent. I was so absorbed in my weaving that the time seemed to melt away. The art is so mindful and something I will rebook with my friends to do again! Any excuse to weave - a birthday, hen do, or just as something creative to do at the weekend! Thank you for a fabulous afternoon Shiv!

My wife and I spent a wonderful Saturday afternoon together at one of Shiv’s weaving workshops recently. With our portable looms, Shiv guided and inspired us to experiment with colour and texture to make our own woven wall hangings. The time spent was relaxed and fun with tea, coffee, biscuits and chat while we got our heads and fingers around the 3D concept of this ancient craft. We opted to buy our own weaving kitscand Shiv sent us on our way loaded with extra yarn and weaving ideas for later.

We went to a weaving workshop in June.It was great, Shiv is a kind and patient tutor. We both learnt lots about weaving. We both went home with a wall hanging, a weaving kit and lots of enthusiasm about future weaving projects. I would definitely recommend this workshop.
