DanDan Noodle Restaurant

I’m a noodle person and prefer it over rice dishes when ordering out. I like QQ noodles with a chewiness or bite to them. The noodles here are not like that. The Beijing noodles I ordered were still okay, although there seemed to be a lot of grease in the soy bean paste. Furthermore, there was discernible fat left on the diced pork, which was not a pleasant mouthfeel. Bold flavours, however, especially with all the raw minced garlic, which I had to remove.My husband’s braised beef rice dish was much better. Tender and tasty beef with some beancurd mixed in. Wish I had ordered that instead of my noodles. We also got some grilled pork dumplings to share, which were tasty.This won’t be my noodle restaurant, but there are other things on the menu that are good.

I saw this place on Instagram and when I saw it, I just had to come! And you know what, it did not disappoint. The staff were super friendly and patient and the portions were generous! I would highly recommend you eat here!

Amazing and authentic Sichuan food, always find myself coming back here for the dan dan noodles and sliced fish in pickled vegetable soup! Can’t recommend this place enough

We really enjoyed our lunch here and will definitely return during our visit to London! This place checks all the boxes: the people are very nice, the space is comfortable and the food is excellent. We had three delicious plates - the fried veggie spring rolls, the pork dumplings (with an awesome sauce), and the dan dan noodles. We'd order them all again but want to try even more dishes next time. They also have a good wine list. Go!

Disappointing experience unfortunately. I'm always on the hunt for a good Sichuanese place. After seeing them on Instagram I asked if they had a vegetarian version of the Dan Dan Noodles, and they said that yes they could make one.I showed up on a Sunday night alone. Firstly, the service could not have been less enthusiastic. No hellos, just pointing to a table to sit. Once they gave the menu, I asked if I could have a vegetarian version of the Dan Dan Noodles. The waiter went to check and came back saying yes, so I ordered that plus the black fungus with coriander, one of my favourite dishes.The mushrooms were good but not great. The consistency was delicious, a bit milder and less garlicky than I like, but that's personal preference. The Dan Dan Noodles were clearly the exact same but just without the pork topping. I have no idea if the broth contained meat, but there was very little of it so it was hard to tell. It was SO bland and disappointing. Also, the fact that they brought it out in less than five minutes shows it's just sitting there.There was literally no communication with the waiter aside from taking my order and then giving me the bill, which they automatically added 12.5% to. For what service?The prices are reasonable. I would have been fine with the poor service if the food was good, but it just wasn't. Or at least not for vegetarians. Unfortunately I won't be coming back, which is a shame as I was excited about the prospect. I had a much better experience at Sichuan Popo, which I'll be returning to instead.

Excellent food. Very kind and attentive staff, who also served us water when they saw one of us finished her drink. Nice atmosphere. Good value price.

Delicious food and excellent service! The dishes were authentic and had great taste. Make sure you check how many chillies there are next to each dish because some of the dishes can be super hot! Hot but also addictive!

I’ve been to this restaurant numerous times as the service and the food is exceptional.You are immediately greeted by the staff who are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable.The service is very fast and the food is always fresh.The restaurant is very beautifully decorated and is quite spacious and clean.The rice is very soft and fragrant and the chicken is perfectly crispy with a decadent sweet and sour sauce and fresh onion and peppers.The dumplings are steamy and full of flavour and the portions are very big.The drinks are great also and their staff are just amazingly attentive.

Dan Dan Noodle is incredible. Unforgettable Sichuan Dinner. I love Chicken Peanut Butter soo much!! They are really well priced. Manager Jason and our lovely waitress, Kim, are super star. Really attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!!
