Hay Meadow Farm

Wow! My husband surprised me for my birthday and what a surprise it was! Beautiful place, beautiful location and wonderful friendly hosts. If there were ten stars I'd give that easily. Hope to come back soon.

We enjoyed our stay at Hay Meadow Farm so much. The location is incredibly peaceful and quiet - felt very safe for our kids to run around and explore. The cottage is stunning and extremely comfortable and the family onsite were so friendly and accommodating. There was lots to see and do in the local area. I could easily have stayed on another week and would love to come back one day.

Warm and accommodating hosts, both Duncan and Jane are happy to help in any way they can. What could have been difficult dietary needs were dealt with easily. The accommodation is excellent. And the breakfast!! You can save ££'s on lunch as it'll keep you going til late!

A real nice place if you like to isolate a bit. You will have to take care of cooking as not many things around. The place was more than enough we were two families , 7 people overall. Great showers and dining room. Awesome yard. We really appreciate the owner's welcoming

Everything about this enchanting B & B is simply lovely, it's not what I would normally choose but I'm glad I did. Duncan and Jane and their children were lovely, warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Would not hesitate to return

It was a privilege to stay in such a wonderful house with over 1000 years of history within its walls. I stayed with my family for a 3 night break. We all slept very well each night, breakfasts were superb and served up in a cafe opposite the farmhouse. I recommend the salmon and scrambled egg!Lots to do and see nearby with historic inland towns as well as beautiful seaside towns and beaches. Bude is a 30 minute drive away and we enjoyed an afternoon at the beach at Widemouth bay.Visit Hay Meadow Farm to recharge your batteries and soak up the natural surroundings.

Ordered a few packs of seeds from Hay Meadow Farm and I’m very happy. Arrived less than a week after, nicely packed and was sent a pack of 250g (for one of the products) as a thank you when had paid for 100g. Very grateful for the kindness. Will definitely order again from them.

Wonderful, lovely, peaceful place!Dunkin and Jane are fantastic hosts. Dunkins cooking is awsome. We love this place really much!And our room was so wonderful and we will never forget Hay Meadow Farm!

We recently stayed at Hay Meadow farm for 4 nights. We were a family of 4 and stayed in the buttercup room. A beautiful, quirky room. The room was quite spacious with a king size bed and a large double bed. Wardrobe space, drawers and a large table. Coffee and so many variety of teas available. Added bonus with them being fair trade. Small ensuite but it was perfect. The shower was amazing. Great size complimentary toiletries which were also cruelty free and vegan. This was a great touch as this is something I've never seen when staying in any hotel before.Breakfast was included in the price. So much to pick from and they also cater for many dietary requirements. I have to mention Steph who cooked the most amazing breakfasts including the tastiest mushrooms I have ever tasted!The owners Duncan and Jane were so friendly and helpful. Really lovely people which helped make the stay as enjoyable as possible.It's worth noting that there is very little/no phone reception or internet so if like us you like to plan your days out the evening before, you would be better off going into town. But it really isn't a big deal otherwise. You go to this place to get away and relax.If I could give this place more stars then I would. Hay Meadow farm was amazing and we will be sure to return again.
