Hi, I love my new studios. I love Urban Potters. The light, the vibe, and the people. I go on a regular basis, within my membership access, to charge my inner creativity and to create. Making things with clay. It's a joy and so nourishing. Urban Potters is an oasis ... for everybody. No level. Any levels. From taster sessions for people wanting to see if they like pottering to specialised masterclasses for more experienced makers. And everything in between. Classes, Memberships, workshops, and the amazing community where you feel you are part of. Adrian created a magic space and mostly reflects who he is as a person. and as a potter. Once you are in the studio, time flies... Either if you are on the wheel throwing or sitting at the table hand building your vessels... Exploring techniques, glazes and new tips shared amply within the members and the technician - the real busy bees of the studio. Urban Potters is a brilliant studio also thanks to them... and to their diligent supportive work. When I can't go .. I am still OK at home working or running my life but ultimately, I am restless - and can't wait to go the next day. If you are thinking to start this journey or to continue and improve yours ... Come and visit Adrian at Urban Potters and see it by yourself. Ah I nearly forgot nice coffee there and the smell of yummy food at lunch time. We always talk about 'ceramics' but mostly about food and wine too.

My experience at urban potters has been so positive. I have had a set of lessons and had great support in developing my throwing skills. Adrian and his colleagues have been accessible and motivating such a great place to learn and develop.

Went to urban potters for a taster session with 2 friends and we had such a blast! Our tutor/guide/potter was so wonderful and a patient with us, and was there to help whenever we needed. We went in as total beginners and after 2.5hrs on the wheel came away with skills and some pottery we were so happy with! Can’t wait to see our babies when they’re all fired up and glazed! Thanks so much urban potters, we’ll be back!

Fantastic studio. I did a 6-evening pottery course here and it was incredible. There was the perfect balance between taught elements and freedom to make whatever you like. Adrian and Abbie were amazing tutors, I learnt so much and would recommend!

I’ve just returned home from a wonderfully positive experience learning the basics of pottery. I booked the class for my autistic adult daughters who were keen to try pottery for the first time. The class was small (4 students) so Adrian (the teacher) was able to spend 1-1 time with students as well as give whole class instructions. One of my daughters found using the wheel quite difficult so Adrian showed her how to make a coil pot instead which she loved doing! Adrian was very respectful to all the students and has a lovely manner. The studio itself is modern with a lot of natural light and also has air conditioning which was much appreciated in our current heatwave. I would highly recommend Urban Potters Camberwell to anyone who has an interest in pottery.

A wonderful afternoon spent learning the basics of pottery and a great team building activity. Adrian and Michelle were able to pass on their passion for the art and made great instructors. Highly recommend if you are looking for a team building event that is not too physical or you just want to give pottery a go.

My partner and I attended one of Urban Potter's taster classes. We loved the experience learning the basics, and by the end of the 2.5 hour course, we created several beautiful pieces! For those interested in pottery but never have done it, don't hesitate to try it out at Urban Potters. We're already thinking of taking more classes and perhaps even joining as members in the future -- thanks to Adrian and his team for creating such a welcoming, friendly local space!

Loved the 6 week course with Adrian and Michelle! It was such a welcoming and relaxing environment, and I learnt so much over the weeks. As a beginner they showed us a range of techniques, on the wheel and hand building, then supported us with personal projects we wanted to acheieve - will definitely be returning!

It’s been a few years that I wanted to try ceramics, but I could never find a place that inspired me as most studios I found are under arches without natural light. Then came Urban Potters, a bright new contemporary studio, with natural light, where I can come to unwind. As it’s in Camberwell, it’s easy to reach from Elephant & Castle, Brixton or Vauxhall, and I like that it’s in a residential open courtyard, insulated from traffic, whilst close to the main road, so it feels safe when leaving the studio late in the evening. When I came to Urban Potters, I knew nothing about pottery. In only a month taking ceramics lessons from Adrian, I am now able to practice independently and even mix my own glazes!I’m now a proud member of the studio, and Adrian, the team and the other members are so supportive! I love the community aspect, and how everyone is kind, patient and always willing to help, which makes a massive difference when starting out in pottery.I highly recommend their courses and workshops if you’re interested in trying something fun and relaxing, or their open access / memberships if you want to take pottery a step further.
