Told me it would take a week but ended up taking around 5 weeks to restore and clean 2 pairs, only they weren’t restored ans barely cleaned. Was told after 4 weeks that they can’t restore them but will clean them. Didn’t even do that or give me a partial refund for the time taken and not doing the correct job. Waste of money and time

The seller was really easy to get ahold of and confirmed all details before he started to make them. Got my order on time and he even emailed me to keep me in the loop. These custom Dr Martens are so cool! Couldn’t be happier with my international purchase. I was a little worried about that as I live in the United States.

Excellent job - expected my Jordans to be a write off after the colour ran into the white cotton but restored as good as new. 100% recommend

Placed order back in March - now approaching November!! Absolutely awful customer service. Purchased trainers previous with a Christmas promise (8 week wait) - they arrived in March and were 3 months late. Got given a discount code for their poor service which I used for my current order. Requested refund and numerous emails but no answer! STAY AWAY

Not the service I was expecting. Waited weeks for my shoes. I was advised they were ready to collect so asked my mum to get them as I was working. My mum took time off work only to find out they were not complete, despite being told they were. I was initially assured they would be ready for my holiday and this did not happen. I have now picked them up 5 weeks later. At first they looked okay good when I saw them in the shop so did not complain and I was understanding of delay. But on further inspection the only difference is the laces and the pads inside the heal which I could have done myself. Complete waste of time and money, do not recommend.

I have previously bought shoes from here and got them in the time frame that was stated and absolutely adore them! however i bought a pair on the 8th of july which i paid for then and there and it is now the 6th of september and i still have no shoes, my messages and emails are getting completely ignored and have not received anything in regards to where my trainers are or if they have even acknowledged my messages etc. these shoes were extremely expensive which is completely acceptable for the work that goes into them alongside a short wait which i was told 4-6 weeks, but 3 months for trainers is not okay. very unprofessional for a business!

Sterling restorations are amazing! They restored several pairs of my shoes and a jacket to perfection. Their quality of workmanship and attention to detail are exceptional. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of restoration work!

So I ordered my shoes from Restoration plug in late December 2020. It was clear on their website and they also explained over the phone that due to the pandemic and brexit, the order will take six weeks. They kept me updated with my order, what materials they were waiting on and as it was a custom order I was happy to wait! When there were delays, due to the government lockdown and closure of all non essential shops,they kept me updated. And in mid Feb 2021 my shoes were delivered and I will be completely honest, they were worth the wait! The design and the quality is amazing, they were exactly what I wanted and more. I have already recommended them to some friends and as a local business who I can imagine who has been massively impacted by the pandemic, they were responding to my emails even at 11pm on a Sunday night. I will definitely be purchasing again and for anyone who wants a one off custom order, I would highly recommend. I would especially like to give thanks to Miles, who has provided several updates over email and phone, thank you for all your help ❤ I love my order

Ordered from them in August, had warnings from a friend not to bother as he had to wait 6 months but COVID wasn't as impactful when I had ordered so I thought I'd take the risk, like all other reviews I never received the trainers, or any response from them.I managed to get a refund through my bank (TSB, I used a credit card) so I would advise anyone else who has used their credit card to get in touch with a bank as I received my permanent refund over the weekend.It's a shame as my friends trainers are top quality and would have loved to have a pair.
