Dr Fox carried out my ablation at the Alexandra Hospital Cheadle April 2021, it was a complete success, on my follow-up I was discharged.If you are referred to him you will be in safe hands. I had an SVT Ablation by Dr Fox in January, 2019. Dr Fox was very efficient when explaining the procedure at my initial interview, very relaxed and friendly style ( especially for a Consultant! ) , he put me at ease and inspired confidence in what was potentially a scary procedure. On the day of the procedure Dr Fox and his team were very friendly and professional throughout the entire day! The procedure went very well and cured the problem! What a super man he is!Dr Fox is clear and concise in his explanations of diagnosis & treatment. Dr Fox carried out my ablation at Wythenshawe hospital November 2018. At every stage he was very clear & concise about my condition & treatment plan. During an operation, on my shoulder, at the Alexandra Hospital, Cheadle, Cheshire, I had a tachycardia episode. As a result, the anaesthetic recommended I see a cardiology consultant. This was very worrying as I was due to go on holiday, in two weeks and go into hospital for a Cochlear Implant.I contacted the Alexandra Hospital and got an appointment, with Doctor David Fox, the next day. Dr Fox has a very pleasant attitude and immediately put me at ease. When told I was profoundly deaf he made a great effort to enunciate his words so I could understand him. He carried out an ECG and gave me an immediate, encouraging result. He then arranged for me to wear a heart monitor for 7 days, a Cardiac Ultrasound and a Cardiac CT Scan. All were dealt with and completed in ten days. Dr Fox emailed my GP with his recommended medication.That wasn't the end. The CT Scan found lesions on my liver. Dr Fox was very optimistic and the lesions were invariably benign cysts. He arranged for the scan to be carried out on my liver. As soon as he received the result he rang my husband and informed him the lesions were benign cysts.Knowing how worried I was about the implant operation, Dr Fox assured me there was no problem with going ahead. He also drafted some letters and emailed them to me. These were to forward to the hospital, for the attention and advice of the anaesthetic.The service received from Dr Fox was unbelievable. That, with the brilliant assistance of his secretary, Claire made a very traumatic situation so much easier to endure.I was able to enjoy my holiday and when I attended hospital for my implant, the anaesthetist made a point of mentioning he had read Dr Fox’s letters and he would act on them accordingly. The operation was a complete success and no problems occurred in relation to my high heart rate.I have nothing but admiration for Dr Fox, as a person and the extremely professional, efficient and the expeditious way he dealt with my situation.I strongly recommend Dr Fox to anyone who needs treatment for anything concerning the heart.

Dr Fox, carried out my ablation treatment, and i have since had an annual check-up at his specialist unit, at Wythenshawe Hospital. I found Dr Fox to be very professional and he explained everything to me in very straight forward terms and showed a genuine intertest in my case and made me feel very relaxed and able to ask him questions, too.

After a great deal of research identifying a local EP with a great reputation, I requested a consultation with Dr Fox and so far the results of the consultation and ablation in December have been excellent. The team supporting Dr Fox were both compassionate and reflected his values perfectly. Dr Fox has a rare combination of both professional integrity and ability allied to a very personable skill-set. A very good listener, advised me of the need for slight lifestyle changes that I was aware of but needed a push. Overall I've been extremely satisfied with the support provided to me by Dr Fox and his team.

Dr Fox successfully performed an accessory pathway ablation for me. I have no hesitation in recommending him and his brilliant team. He clearly explained the WPW condition I was experiencing and the procedure that was necessary to correct it. A huge thank you from my family and me.
