Antrim Castle Gardens

Great place for a family day out. Lovely grounds and gardens. Beautiful walks, see photos. Café was lovely with fresh food and cakes available. Antrim Castle grounds and garden are free to enter. Good wheelchair access.

We had some time to kill whilst waiting for our flight home. Decided to go to the Antrim Castle grounds. We had no idea what to expect but we're really pleased that we went . The gardens are beautiful and you have to appreciate the work that goes on to get such a huge area to look as good as it does. We visited the refurbished stable tearooms and shop. The shop was full of crafts and the young lady behind the counter was so pleasant and helpful.We decided to hire a cycle carriage for four. So relaxing and for £7.50 for half an hour, an inexpensive way to get around the grounds. Thanks to the staff and all the gardeners for their efforts. I will definitely tell my friends to put it on their agenda, should they visit the area in future.

Fabulous gardens, café museum exhibitions and the Platinum Jubilee Clockwork Garden was a joy to behold. And a bit of a giggle too. Disabled accessibility throughout the parkland and accessible toilets facilities too nearby to the café. I would go back again.

Great walks around the motte and the castle ruins, alongside the 6 Mile water. The paths are well surfaced and ground it mostly flat so great for an old hop a long like me.Clatworthy House do a decent lunch with outdoor and indoor seating and I was not unhappy with the price.The Jubilee Clockwprk Garden was lovely and the grandchildren loved the dancing trees.Good car parking and entry is FREE.

Absolutely beautiful grounds. Obviously very well looked after. It was a very pleasant walk around the grounds and along the river to Lough Neagh

Been for dog walks during the summer, it's great would 100% recommend. Recently went to the enchanted Christmas lights and its brilliant!! I've been 2 years in a row now and my kid loves it. If you haven't been before please go especially if you have kids as its very Christmasy. If you don't have kids go anyway with friends, partners or family, great food and really nice walks.

What an amazing place! I really didn't expect... The 'castle' and its garden are beautiful, very well maintained, clean bathrooms, a caffè, and a jaw-dropping 'dancing garden'.And amazingly it's free!

A most enjoyable experience. The little garden as we entered was so memorable. Music played, the house's roof rotated as did the trees on either side of the pond.
