All the staff were helpful and pleasant. Both optometrist who did the eye test and the optometrist who did the contact lens check were patient to explain things.

I was highly impressed by the service I received at Boots in Summertown. A careful assessment of my vision, advice on choice of glasses and then fitting them for use. Verdict: professional, friendly and reassuring.

Tried to phone to cancel my appointment so someone else would be able to make use of it, but I am unable to get through to Oxford no one will answer the phone.

Great selection of glasses frames in a range of styles and sizes. I have a small face and often struggle to get fashionable glasses that are the correct fit/size. It’s nice to see so many options. : )

Poor service. Cancelled my appointment without letting me know so I turned up for no reason. Avoid.

The staff were all friendly and efficient. They took the time to listen and also explained what was taking place. Its the time taken with customers that's important to customer service.

I had the most horrible sevice in Boots Summertown/ Oxford. I would not even give one star for this branch of Boots Optician.I had a bad fitted glasses that I had to keep going back at least dozens time to adjust it, than I decided to return/exchange the glasses as it was becoming a burden every day. Even though I was within my 30 days period( collected 11-08-22 , attempted to return/exchange 10-09-22) , Claire, the optician lied to me constantly that I was in fact not within 30 days period. I have trusted her calculations and then I found out she lied to me when I asked her few times to tell me exact days.She was really rude, when I ask for a contact number , she claimed she is the ultimate authority and even though I raise it to owner of the franchise, it would still come to her and she would reject it again. They had horrible attitude and zero respect for consumer. I WOULD NOT EVER USE THIS OPTICIAN for even buying a rubbish bin. There is another boot optician in Boots oxford city centre, they provide better services and it is only 10 min by bus from Summertown (which this branch locates)ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE

Just got a pair of glasses from the shop after more than a week. The production is not punctual, and promised to complete a form for me to claim the eye test but took me 3 emails and a number of calls before I got it. Dinstinctive difference between before and after purchase service. Not recommended!

All went very well: staff polite and professional, punctuality, cleanliness. A most pleasant experience.

We have used these guys for years for glasses and lenses and testing. Always great to deal with, efficient and offering up to date service. They not only have a great range of good-looking frames but they give good help and advice on frames that really suit you.
