Great service with a great price from HL Tree Services. In the recent storms our pine tree had a couple of branches broken at the top well out of reach. Our neighbour was getting some trees cut down by HL so I asked Harry if he could have a look. The guys had the branches cut and disposed of in no time. They also took another bush that was waiting to be taken to the dump and disposed of it as well. Great service.

I had been let down by someone who was going to come and trim my large fuchsia tree. My experience with HL Tree Services was quite different. They came when they said they would to quote for the job, gave me a date for doing the work, and did a thoroughly professional job. Lovely people. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I had a significantly large hedge of evergreens and mixed trees that were severely overgrown and hanging onto the roadside from a height. The team were very professional and efficient, arriving with every possible piece of equipment they could need. They liased with me throughout the tree cutting process to ensure I was happy with their work so I knew exactly what was happening. It is worth noting that the team received a lot of abuse from passing drivers and pedestrians due to the road obstruction, but they remained professional and focused on their work. I was pleasantly surprised by how tidy the job was, there was hardly any trace they had been there by the time they finished, the road was spotless! The trees were left looking fantastic and beautifully tidy. I can't recommend this company enough, couldn't have asked for any better!

Harry Thomson and team attended my old holly tree again and dismantled it throughout the day in pouring rain. They cleared up well and left a great pile of logs. George Thomson in the office arranged everything beautifully including parking notices. THANK YOU!

Having recently moved to the area I was experiencing great difficulty in finding someone trustworthy to inspect the existing trees at my property to advise me as to whether any work was required to be carried out.I’m delighted to have found HL Tree Services and what a breath of fresh air Harry is. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he gives sensible advice too. He also very kindly cut back a few branches for me (at no cost) whilst he carried out the inspection.Harry advised that there wasn’t any immediate concern or work to be carried out but if/when that time comes, I will definitely be contacting HL Tree Services again. I have no hesitation in highly recommending them.

Last October I contacted Harry about sponsorship for my upcoming ice hockey season, Harry and I thought it would be a good idea if I worked the two weeks in October holidays to gain experience in the tree surgeon industry, in the 2 weeks I had obtained many new skills that I could transfer into my day to day life. I got along well with the team and decided to return for work when Harry needed a hand or if I had spare time on my hands. The level of professionalism of Harry’s jobs are second to none and I would recommend him to anyone who was needing any arborist work done. Harry doesn’t only run a great business but is a great guy himself and it’s brushes off on his staff as they are a great bunch of lads and are always happy to help and fill in knowledge gaps for myself or customers. Excellent work from the team. They were really professional in their approach and keen to liaise with us to achieve the best end result.They arrived on time with all the appropriate equipment including their own cherry picker. The garden was left clear and tidy on departure. Costs were very reasonable.We would have no hesitation in recommending this team.

Absolutely fantastic work from the team. Extremely professional and safety conscious. The work was carried out within a couple of weeks of first consultation and very reasonably priced. Already confirmed we will be requiring more work to be carried out early next year.
