Quality. Superbly delicious scallops (with caviar!) and calamari, with chips. Tasty locally brewed beers (Salcombe or Gritchie breweries). Very friendly and helpful service. Great view out to promenade and sea. Recommended.

Absolutely first class meal here, well worth the price .Service was faultless, & the food to die for.For the starter I had Lyme bay Scallops, chorizo & samphire, my wife garlic mushrooms & spinach on vinnicombe bread. For our main, my wife having the 10oz ribeye steak (cooked to perfection) with salad, peppercorn sauce (terrific) & hand cut chips, while I had battered hake with pea purée & hand cut chips.Very highly recommended.

A great example of a modern British restaurant. Delicious food with a range of exceptional wines. Very good service. Will certainly be back and will recommend to others.

Had a very nice battered fish and chips here for dinner with a friend. Nice wine and cappuccino too. Not the cheapest in Sidmouth, but sat outside on a lovely night and had a great view of the sea. Service was a little slow, but friendly staff.

Run by a passionate food lover (Chris), this restaurant is a hidden gem. This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time and worth every penny. All the starters were perfect. The Brill and salad were an incredible match, and the lobster was perfectly cooked. This was one of the highlights of our holiday. Thank you!
