When we needed to understand more about our son's difficulties with some aspects of his school work, Lisa spent time with our son, myself and the school to get an all-round understanding of his needs. What was even more important for us though was that she provided recommendations as to how we could help him going forwards.

I had previously always struggled with exams at school, all the way up to my GCSEs. At sixth form, I was diagnosed with Dyslexia. Lisa supported me throughout sixth form by understanding the way I learn, teaching me techniques to help remember what I had learnt, and then developing revision strategies and exam time planning. Her support helped me successfully gain the A-Level results I needed for a place to study Biological Sciences (BSc) at the University of Leeds. These skills are something I have carried forward for life long learning. I used these same skills to successful complete my MSc from UCL (with distinction) and even now in graduate job. I highly recommend speaking to Lisa.

Previous to working with Lisa, I was looking to better my grades and work ethic which is where Lisa was able to help me significantly improve my performance in school by providing me with good advice and giving me strategies to help me focus on the areas I needed to. She’s very patient and friendly and I found it was very easy to communicate with her during our sessions.
