The Copley Arms
When we are in Cornwall this is normally our favourite place to eat, not this time my daughter ordered the pasta and added chicken when it came there was no chicken we got told they had run out but didn’t tell us but it was on our bill. I had the steak which I think was about £26 it was very rough I had asked to swap the chips for new potatoes which I have done before but it came out with chewy chips and again got told after that they didn’t have any, young staff didn’t seem to care didn’t check if we wanted any more drinks such a shame as it used to be our favourite place not sure if chef has changed as normally really nice food

Spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon here. Superb roast dinner followed by an afternoon in the bar with great live music and friendly locals. You can’t really ask for more on a wet Sunday. Great staff and food. Will definitely return when back in the area.

Absolutely amazing transformation, new landlords have really injected new life and soul into the pub and restaurant . We have been going here for for a few years and the food on our last two visits has been fantastic and very reasonably priced. Entertainment most weekends with a great atmosphere.

Popped in for a drink whilst on our way to looe. Beautiful place, especially around this time of year. Met the landlady lovely lady hopefully staying there at somepoint.

We were at The Copley Arms this summer and shared the sharing platter for 2! It was massive and everything on it was absolutely beautiful! We had a lovely member of staff deliver it and our eyes couldn't believe it ha ha ha! It was worth every penny and left us very full! We can't wait to be back that way to see what else is on offer!The Bent familam x

Driving back from Looe we fancied a Sunday lunch and happened upon the Copley Arms.. car park full we weren't hopeful but we got a table in the bar which was warmed by log fire. Fantastic front of house staff and wow what amazing value sirloin of roast beef with ALL the trimmings.Wish we had a pub like this near my house

We had our Wedding Reception at the Copley Arms. It was exceptional service and they honestly couldn't do enough for us. The food was amazing, all our guests loved it. It was presented beautifully and tasted delicious.If you need somewhere to celebrate a wedding or birthday, I would highly recommend here. Amanda and Shane are absolutely wonderful hosts!

I had a lovely meal , unfortunately my husband's steak was full of grisle and all but inedible and at £30 , we were expecting a little more than a oh that's not good when we complained.Also restaurant was very cold , I kept my coat on for most of the meal.

Lovely pub to have a drink, however food is expensive for the quality. £15 for fish and chips where the fish tasted like freezer burn isn’t good enough - should really be fresh for this price. The salad also was clearly quite old and had seen *much* better days. If you’re paying for good quality you expect it - unfortunately not the case here with food tasting of a freezer and, ironically, came out rather cold with a long wait. Staff are always lovely and as I stated the pub is brilliant, just would give the food a hard pass.
