Have been here twice! This place is operated by a local and talented girl. I had the peach custard pastry during my first visit and it was VERY NICE and the peach was juicy. Had turkey and stuffing pie on my second visit and it was very nice especially served hot on cold winter day. ❤️ This place also sell a selection of lovely cookies which I've yet to try. There's always a next time and I hope many people will support this little place.

Beautiful, vegan bakery in Cardiff city centre! Only a five minute walk from the train station, and you are welcomed into the coziest little shop (that smells absolutely incredible!). All the bakes are delicious, freshly made and 100% vegan. Great stop for lunch or weekend treats. Can't wait to see what other amazing food they'll be bringing to the table! Would absolutely recommend and looking forward to making it a regular stop :)

Came across The Pie Box at the vegan fest in Cardiff. Delicious home made pies, tasty and full of flavour. We had the chicken& leek and also tried the stake pie and these were good -better than the pies we usually buy from a very upmarket grocery shop in Piccadilly! The cinnamon bun with cream icing was polished off and we gave it 10 out of 10. Wish the pie box was closer to west London!

Wow! This was an amazing surprise whilst we were visiting Cardiff. We got some pies for lunch and couldn't believe they were all homemade and completely plant based! We went back the next day to get some pastries to take back home with us. Amazing food!

The owner Sophie made us feel welcome and helped us choose some incredible vegan pastries that are all hand made by her. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, I would highly recommend The Pie Box to anyone in Cardiff. Our new favourite spot!

So happy to see a vegan bakery just off the taff trail. All of the pastries/cakes were amazing- I tried a chocolate twist, oat cinnamon cookie, cinnamon bun and a jam custard. I can't wait to try the savory food next!

The food here is incredible! The nicest pies I've ever eaten and such tasty mash! Love all the sweet treats too. Even more amazing that it is all vegan! Sophie who runs it is always so warm, welcoming and smiley!
