I feel so lucky to live a few minutes from this place. What a wonderful addition to the area! Excellent coffee and pastries, and turns into a lovely wine bar in the evening. Really excited to become a regular here :)

A gem, tucked away in SE23.Not my usual area I visit but this was a bonus.I was very impressed with not only the good coffee, subtle yet tasteful cups etc but the delicious donut.There is something special about this place as once you are inside, you are exposed to fresh produce, plants and numerous meats and iced creams! All appear to be local.Very unique and I would recommend you visit.If I had my shopping bag I would have purchased numerous items.Please visit as the music is nice and subtle including the staffs were were both pleasant!5*

I walked in, asked to see the size of the hot chocolate for £2.70. I then walked out and went around the corner to No.1 Cafe who served me a much bigger cup for £1.50!Another example of ridiculous gentrification sizes and prices.

Popped in here on a rainy late Saturday afternoon and had a great G&T, salted almonds and bought some Fried Egg Crisps and a takeaway decaff tea.The owner is amazing - very friendly, very knowledgeable and has a great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, bread and pastries and store cupboard 'essentials' (deli type food). The assistant/waitress is lovely too. When I returned in a panic thinking I'd lost my phone the owner kindly rang it for me (it was in my pocket!).Best thing is they offer cocktails too and also the occasional dinner evenings.Will be back. Hidden gem.

The shop keeper refused to change my coffee’s as they were not to our liking. Kindly asked him to change them but he refused and then man handled me out of the shop. The most disgraceful person I have ever met and hopefully this business doesn’t survive as the customer service is a disgrace. I was also threatened with a slap.

Waited outside until 8am so I could get a coffee. 2 guys inside having a coffee themselves and chatting, they saw me but didn’t acknowledge me, it turned 8am and they carried on having their coffee, didn’t bother to open the door on time even though I had been outside for 5min, I left a minute later since they didn’t seemed inclined to open the door. I’ve seen this place open and grow over the years they’ve been around in the neighbourhood, would be a shame to see they slide down the hill due to arrogance.

Cakes and Doughnuts are great. Service is bare minimum from the little guy, sometimes feel like you’re interrupting them not serving any one. Come on hun, give us nothing. But they do leave you to it and it’s dog friendly. Get a bit of a show out the window of goings on in Forest Hill.

This is a 4 star cafe serving 5 star donuts. In the windowsill there are inviting piles of crusty bread loaves. On the counter are some eye catching donuts, sausage rolls and a pan au chocolat dipped in chocolate. We ordered one of each of these - the roll was disappointing and the pan au chocolat we were served was deceptively without a chocolate dunk, thus dull. Luckily, the donuts were _amazing_. They have healthy amounts of light tasting maple or pistachio custard and left us gagging for more.

Always a nice experience when I come here. Good card selection, great produce. Orange wine was lovely and so were the snacks to accompany them. 1 star reviewers clearly have an unfounded vendetta against this place.
