Unfortunately we didn't go on the train - just watched it go past, it was a magnificent steam train and beautiful countryside.

Lovely Station,beautiful garden, good place to sit and let the world go past. Ice cold tins of soda etc £1. Very polite helpful staff.

A very nice setting. Due to Covid - 19 it had that somewhat very early days look of the post Beeching cuts.Not many people about, could spend some time loitering on the revel crossing to get some pics.Pity we could not have supported the WSR with our money riding up and down the track on our many coastal visits this holiday .Looking forward to enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of Steam again soon.

My favourite stop on the West Somerset Railway. Get the first train from Bishops Lydeard to Blue Anchor, then head to the Driftwood Cafe for brunch. You'll have time for a quick walk on the beach then head back to the station to either continue to Minehead, or return back to Bishops Lydeard on the same train you travelled down on.

Amazing heritage railway station. Staff so friendly and interesting to talk to. Signaller made my day by showing me around the signal box! Highly recommended!

We stayed at a lovely campsite here and caught the steam train to Dunster where we visited the castle and town, a great day out.

Only used it for one very short journey of one stop but was very enjoyable. Staff very helpful and friendly. If you are into heritage railways this would be great.
