We visited Ian back in early July with a very poorly bonsai. He tended to it straight away & explained everything carefully - a ‘care package’ so that it could hopefully start to recover. Today, it’s looking much healthier &, although it still needs a bit of tlc, with Ian’s guidance I know we’re on the right track. What this man doesn’t know about these beautiful trees isn’t worth knowing. We highly recommend him. Thanks Ian

Booked a pottery taster session for myself a couple of friends for their birthday - it was a great couple of hours. Ian spent a lot of time ensuring we understood the pottery basics, what we were doing and why, and took care to ensure we produced some bits that were actually decent :D would definitely recommend booking if it's something you are interested in, Ian was more than accommodating and super friendly.

What started out as me buying a small little starter tree has turned into a massive obsession thanks to the help and workshops from Ian. Brilliant range of stock, from young sapling material, pre-bonsai material and an incredible range of ‘finished’ trees (including display of Ian’s private collection). So far I’ve bought five trees, fertiliser, wire, tools and had three workshops developing some of my own material. I’ll be back!

Easy to review. Very Very good, well presented experience of bonsai. Although not much foliage this time of year. Still lots to see.You can read and look at pictures on line all day. But you don't get any better experience than being with Ian, an expert in his field. Very well explained, demonstrated and open to questions. An experience I very much recommend.See you later this year Ian. So Inspired to grow my little collection.Thank You

Recently started to get into bonsai and found this local gem! Ian is a very knowledgeable man when it comes to all things bonsai and pottery. He has been able to help with all my questions and query’s within regards to helping a beginner such as myself. Me and my girlfriend did a pottery course and thoroughly enjoyed our time! Ian was helping us along the way but also made sure that what we made was 100% our own. Would definitely recommend a visit you won’t be disappointed!

Walsall bonsai is a really great place and Ian is always willing to help. I took a pine bonsai to him last last year for some advice on the care and progression of the tree. He explained everything I needed to know in a way that was easily understood. I have also taken a introduction into pottery workshop and started making some pots with ian's guidance and expert tuition. Ian has alot of experience and is very knowledgeable about bonsai and pottery. Look forward to working with him in the future. Definitely worth a visit 10/10.

Made an appointment for a visit it was done as a birthday treat not done it before so bought a tree plant and took it to shape into bonzia had great experience very constructive and pleased with end result look at photosRight is before stands approx 18 inches tall

I visited yesterday with my neighbour Douglas, after our wives bought us a lesson there for our birthdays. We didn't know what to expect, but really enjoyed it. Turned up with a bonsai each and learned so much about how to prune and maintain them. We'll be going back in the spring to learn about repotting.

I surprised my Karate Kid crazy husband with a 3 hour workshop with Ian and it was a huge hit. We got a tour of his lovely garden and tree collection, followed by the history of bonsai and some resources and then an hour and a half of pruning and potting our starter trees. Great value. We came from Liverpool and made it back in time to change for our dinner reservations, so don't count this out if you're further afoot! Highly recommend, thanks again Ian!
