I threw a house party for my 30th Birthday and hired a stage light package from Daniel Lay Event Services a few weeks ago, and it was one of the best decisions I've made! I was really impressed by every aspect of the service: from the info on their website, their professionalism when answering my queries over the phone and making an effort to call me back, the ease of collecting and returning the equipment, and the simple process of setting up and using the lights/smoke machine.Initially I was a little worried the set up would be too OTT for a living room environment, but it really made the party a night to remember! On behalf of The Kings Ferry, I would like to send a massive thank you to Daniel Lay Event Services for the efficient service and high quality products. We hired a red carpet along with rope and stanchions for our exhibit at The National Wedding Show. We only contacted them with regards to the hire 2 days prior to the event set up, so we needed a quick turn around. Daniel was extremely efficient with getting back to us and setting up the hire order and delivery The props we received were immaculate quality and we will recommend the companies services to everyone.

Friendly & efficient setup of the equipment on delivery. Very helpful out-of-hours advice on using the equipment during the party that I’d hired it for. Exactly what I’d expected & hoped for. Good set up and communication prior to wedding.Shame about the djDidn’t read the room at allPlayed some songs that people were dancing to then did a complete U turn on genre/ style.Didn’t listen to requests even from bride and groom, until he finally gave in towards the end of the evening, complaining to our guests “is it requests or playlist”We said from the start the playlist was genres we wanted but all he kept play was house.Before the dj part of the wedding started the dj, spoke to us (bride and groom)Where I asked for my favourite song to be played and it didn’t!Wouldn’t be quick to recommend the djThe events company was spot on with set up, equipment and communication.
