Top notch service. Two days' worth of barbecue meat for £27 feeding a family of four. Jerk chicken, venison sausages, chicken sausages, smoked bacon, ostrich burgers and a 2.6kg beef brisket. Will be coming back!

Sheppard's butcher isit does offer excellent value because the quality is so high. The butcher also has extensive knowledge on cooking everything he sells. It's a top quality traditional butcher. Not a counter that sells pre-packaged meat in a supermarket.

What a fantastic butchers, everything we have bought here is of the highest quality. Whether its cuts and joints of meat and poultry( the pork chops are stunning) or the sausages, faggots and especially the pies. The pies, oh the pies! I rate myself as pretty handy cook and make a mean pie but genuinely don't think I can do better than these pastry wonders.
