I drove from Oxford to view and buy a low mileage Mini Countryman from Coopers Cars. Tony offered me a package including delivery, four new tyres, 12-month warranty, service, MOT, and 6-months road tax.The premises at Coopers Cars is impressive, with a large workshop and service area. For me, it is easy to award five stars to Coopers Cars.

Thank you to Tony at Cooper's cars for a lovely and family friendly experience when purchasing a grand picasso. Relaxed and pressure free environment to look at the cars on offer which are greatly cared for by his inspection team. We found that cars are in a great condition and greatly priced for the consumer as we found with our new joy with top of the range spec selling at same price at other garages with lesser options. Enjoy your next car purchase through Cooper's cars south west !

Bought a Volvo V70 estate in April this year. After a few weeks of ownership, there was a significant fault, which Coopers wouldn't have been aware of. They dealt with it promptly, and I've had no problems since. The car was well priced and every bit as good an example as described. No complaints!

Went to Coopers on a Sunday 30 mins before closing, and was greeted warmly. Very helpful, informative, and I chose a car that day. On the Thursday morning the car was ready for collection after being valeted, MOT, etc. I was even picked up to go and collect car. No hassle process, great value. Highly recommended!

I purchased a Peugeot 5008 3 weeks ago.The car itself is clean and has mechanically so far been good. After 1 week i noticed what I think is water getting in along the driver door pillar. I emailed Coopers cars a picture and said I will call Monday morning to discuss as they were closed as it was Sunday. When I called Monday morning I was told it sounds like a leak around the windscreen I will see when our person can look at it and call you back, I was happy with this.I have since had to make 3 follow up calls as I received no communication about what was happening.I've been told the person hasn't got back to them twice, then that the person they use has been on holiday and they will chase again but i have not heard back.Car seems lovely overall but communication in my experience has been rubbish and leaves me dissatisfied.

Literally the worst buying experience of my life.Bought a Freelander 2 in July which was described as having a full service history. I found out weeks later it didn't and attempted to get a refund. Cooper's denied it and kept on with their lie that it did have a full history. They initially claimed I'd modified it by putting 'mud tyres' on (they were actually all terrain tyres) and would only let me return it in the original condition as they had 'no interest in selling modified cars'. I'd also replaced old trim items with new ones. At this point a refund was impossible as I didn't have the original tyres or old trim bits. The car had multiple faults early on and I spent over £1000 fixing various issues in the two months of ownership. This included me having to service it again as they claimed they'd serviced it before sale but wouldn't provide the service record. The LR specialist that serviced it said it hadn't been serviced for at least a year.Cooper's refused me entry to the site, so I couldn't get the faults fixed there. They claimed I'd been aggressive to staff which was far from the truth! I even asked for CCTV and they refused to give it to me, which is against data protection laws.I had to start small claims court proceedings to get anywhere. Then, after another fault, I eventually had to drop it off at their garage unannounced. I told Tony I'd leave it on the site (the point of sale) until I got a refund. He threatened to have a tractor drag it off. I left it anyway.I returned the next day to talk face to face with Tony and after about 5 mins kept swearing at me, as did his daughter who insisted on filming me. I asked my partner to film Tony's behaviour and he grabbed her phone out of her hand and refused to give it back so the Police were called. After hours of wasted Police time, he eventually agreed to a refund minus about £1000 for the 2000 miles I'd travelled in it. So in two months I lost £1000 on it and spent over £1000 fixing issues. Expensive mistake buying from Cooper's!I've just noticed the car is now back up for sale and says 'superb service history' and has the same tyres on. Funny that. He's now clearly conceded it doesn't have a full service history and the rubbish about the 'mud tyres' was just an attempt at avoiding refund. Finally, Cooper's will probably reply to this post, giving their 'side' of the story. It'll be lies and excuses, that's what they do. Do not fall for it! Have a good read through the reviews. Yes, a lot are good and you may buy a car which doesn't have an issue. However, when things go wrong, Cooper's will not deal with it and will refuse to meet their legal obligations. I'm not the first person to start legal action against them, which says a lot, and unfortunately I probably won't be the last. Check other reviews, there is a pattern of them not servicing cars properly, miselling cars, and refusing refunds.Avoid this company and man at all costs!!

Just bought my car today from Tony and found the whole transaction a pleasurable experience. The car was very well prepared and fully warranted. Tony was knowledgeable, our negotiations were relaxed and concluded to our mutual satisfaction. I have no hesitation awarding 5 Stars.
