The Casterton Grange Estate

After doing the rounds of mainstream wedding venues and finding they were all booked up for foreseeable we stumbled across Casterton Grange and never looked back.The intimacy and flexible space that the estate offers cannot be matched elsewhere and truly allowed us to create a wedding that was personal to us. Every angle of the estate is stunning, with so many picturesque backdrops this is the perfect venue for entertaining. The house is equipped with everything you could ever need for your staycation. From the moments guests arrived on Friday evening guests were blown away by the beauty of the Grange and by check out on Monday we still couldn’t bring ourselves to leave.Anneka and Patrick are the perfect hosts, assisting in the run up to our wedding and couldn’t do enough for us during the weekend.Thank you for opening your home and allowing us to put on the wedding of our dreams. The most beautiful wedding venue, and the perfect place for our English Indian Wedding! Honestly the most beautiful venue, and in addition Anneka was very flexible, supportive and helped ensure the most magical weekend. The suppliers she recommended were also excellent, and we used so many of her recommendations. Everyone who stayed on site loved the facilities, and we had the best time! Highly recommend Casterton for weddings or otherwise! Hoping to be back in the future!

Wow, where to start?! Our wedding at Casterton Grange was beyond our wildest dreams.We made a weekend of it and loved having all 30 of our guests stay for the entire weekend, which gave us plenty of time to make the most of the full estate and do loads of activities - archery, tennis, badminton, garden games, snooker, hot-tubs, yoga, wild swimming, country walks, and even a murder mystery! Everyone was blown away by how beautiful the house, cottages and grounds are. Everything feels so luxurious (like the world's most comfortable bedding!) but still somehow completely homely and unpretentious.We got married outside on the terrace, with the most beautiful aisle through the garden. It all felt so natural and intimate - just perfect! Then we had our drinks reception surrounded by flowers in the walled garden, followed by dinner in the wonderfully light & bright dining room (catered by Foray - absolute superstars, recommended by Anneka). We then danced the night away in the orangery. It was a perfect day, within a perfect weekend.Anneka was fantastic - she found us some wonderful suppliers and made sure everything ran perfectly down to the last detail, even fluffing my dress before I walked down the aisle! Her eye for style is fabulous - you can completely trust her to make everything look amazing. Holly was also on hand to help in any way possible - doing the behind the scenes jobs to keep the house looking great all weekend, and always lovely to chat to!Casterton Grange is a truly special place. The privacy it offers made our wedding feel so intimate and magnified the emotion of the whole weekend. It really felt like our home for the weekend and it will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

The most amazing family weekend celebrating a special Birthday and a magicalChristening. The setting is idyllic and our family (ranging from 7months to 87 years)! all enjoyed the luxurious amenities of Casterton Grange.

We stayed 5 nights as a family last month in the main house at Casterton Grange Estate. The grounds, the house and everything about it is just beautiful. Patrick was so accommodating to our needs and requests that we felt so comfortable staying there before we even arrived. It was such a nice surprise to be welcomed to treats that had been left for us. Everything we needed was catered for including amazing bedding, towels, linen, as well as essentials such like kitchen roll, loo roll even cling film.The heating, lighting, and all the small touches like umbrellas, toiletries, so many different books to read & dvds to watch.. the access to netflix but also the Sonos sound system just made the experience even better than we had ever expected. The pictures do not do this home justice. The setting is stunning and the living space is so well designed, we were lucky to have some sunny days and utilize the hot tub. I would love to return to Casterton and do it all again as there is so much to explore and appreciate in the home. We would have loved to see the observatory and the wine cellar, and it would be great to have an umbrella or shaded area outside so you can still sit out in the rain (when its warm) and appreciate the grounds if you choose to - hopefully next time :) I wouldn't want anything else to change, it's perfect. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect at Casterton Grange Estate. Anneka helped with all the details, and had the best recommendations for what we wanted. Everything ran smoothly and all details were thought of . We stayed with our guests for 3 nights at the house and in their guests houses, and enjoyed the beautiful house and it’s surroundings. I wish I could do it all again!

***BOOK THIS PLACE IMMEDIATELY***My wife and I were recently married and held our reception/accommodated our wedding party at The Casterton Grange Estate, we had the most perfect weekend with our nearest and dearest.Anneka and the team took care of our every need and we really couldn't have asked for better hosts.The estate itself is well maintained and offers a nice mix of mod-cons against the backdrop of a traditional and grand aesthetic. The venue differs from more custom built" wedding locations as you really do have the place to yourself and are made to feel at home without the feeling of being rushed through for the next wedding due in the following day.We could have stayed there for a week and couldn't have asked for a better weekend

I had the honour of photographing at Casterton Grange and what an incredible estate and venue! Not only is the house so beautiful it's like something from a movie, the owners and staff are so friendly and down to earth. The grounds are stunning and it's so peaceful and the best way I can describe it is it's a very welcoming and magical place!

It is even more special being able to accommodate your wedding party on site, it meant that we made even more great memories over the weekend that would not have been possible at other venues. Plus the accommodation at the main house and cottages is gorgeous!Anneka was incredibly helpful from our first viewing right up to the last day of our wedding weekend. She helped us to secure all of the best suppliers, worked with us to build out our weekend itinerary and ensured our wedding ran smoothly down to every last detail, nothing was too much trouble. It really took the pressure off on the wedding weekend and allowed us to enjoy everything and take it all in. We couldn’t have done it without her!Casterton Grange is an amazing place that now has a special place in our hearts and we can’t wait to celebrate another event there in the future.

From the moment we set foot in Casterton Grange, we knew it was a special place, and so much more than a wedding venue. In the months leading up to the wedding, Anneka was only a text, phone call or visit away and truly went above and beyond to ensure our weekend of celebrations was everything we’d dreamed of and more. We couldn’t recommend Anneka, Patrick and the rest of the CG team more.Our wedding weekend started with a civil ceremony held in the beautiful study of the main house. Anneka made sure everything was PERFECT, including getting some last minute flowers and organising a confetti toss for afterwards.The rest of our guests arrived that evening and celebrations kicked off with garden games and a BBQ on the terrace, with food provided by the amazing Bruno and Emma (Nourished by Bruno & Emma); just one of many brilliant recommendations from Anneka. Everything was beautiful, with the tables decorated with vases of flowers freshly picked from the gardens of the estate.The following day, our wedding was held outside, making use of Casterton’s natural topiary ball aisle. The ceremony was beyond anything we could have imagined - it felt private and intimate, and is a part of the day we will never forget. Anneka ensured everything looked amazing and even made time to calm my nerves before the ceremony.Every supplier remarked on what a special place Casterton is and how accommodating everyone was throughout the day, even when we needed to push back the time of the ceremony owing to a brief rain shower. Our photographer Kamila (Kamila Nowak Photography) and videographer Julian (Julian Voigt Wedding Films) really captured the emotion of the day and just how beautiful the Casterton estate is - every corner is stunning!Throughout the weekend, our guests were made to feel so welcome and comfortable and no one wanted to leave. From luxurious bedrooms equipped with fluffy robes and slippers, to the tennis courts and hot tubs, Casterton is really short of nothing. Perhaps most importantly for us when choosing a wedding venue was finding a place which felt like a home, where our friends and family could relax. We certainly found that in Casterton.We really wish we could do it all over again! Thank you Anneka, Patrick, Holly and the rest of the Casterton Grange team for making our dream wedding a reality.
