Arnisdale Post Office

My wife and I were left a cottage at Arnisdale after our parents died. The cottage is called 'Cuillin Cottage' for obvious reasons. It looks over to Knoiydart and if you walk a short distance from the house it looks over to Skye. Yes, you can see the Cuillins of Skye by walking a few yards from the cottage.Although not the easiest place to get to, once you arrive there, you realise it was worth the journey. The Mam Ratagan is 1 in 3 at it's peak but never mind the curves, it's worth every mile.I have been doing this trip several times a year for the last 55 years and enjoy the drive each time.Once you get there, if you enjoy peace and quiet and the sound of birds and the sea, you'll love it.If you love Scotland and its beautiful scenery, you will love a trip to Arnisdale.
