Neon Martial Arts & Fitness Centre

I had an amazing 3-day Jiu-jitsu session at Neon Martial Arts. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, and the instructors were excellent! I had fantastic sparring/rolls with everyone, and I learned a lot from them.I highly recommend this academy if you're in the Southampton area or passing by this city.

Because of my work schedule I have bounced around a few of the classes (BJJ, MMA, No-Gi) but every class is great. Rolling/sparing is a different level of cardio workout and the classes are a chance to learn from guys that are experts in their disciplines.

In my 50's I wanted to find somewhere to learn something new. I've now been learning to wrestle since September. The coaches are great and informative. The support from them and the others joining the class has been great. I have been carrying extra weight for a while, which we all seem to do in our 50's, however having looked at my diet and coming to the classes, I have lost 7kg in 6 weeks. I feel and look better, have more energy and cannot thank the team for their patience and support. If you are thinking about starting any martial art, these are the team to join. Great facility, loads of free parking I travel 15 miles to come here and cannot wait each week to get on the mats.

Amazing gym and facilities.The coaches at neon are masters at their chosen sport , very knowledgeable and professional, they always go that extra mile to make you feel welcome and a valued member of the club.This is a great gym for all the family as they have classes dedicated to adults and children throughout the week.

Very friendly staff who are focussed on children having a good time as well as learning. Trevor B. is also helping our son with his silver Duke of Edinburgh sporting activity by providing a framework and assessment. The flexible membership arrangement is very helpful when it's not possible for attendance every week. Great group of people.

The instructors are highly experienced, the classes are well structured and the atmosphere is great. Everyone is really friendly and it's a great place to meet new people. The facilities are top notch and the equipment is always clean and in good condition. I've been going for a few months now and I can definitely see an improvement in my overall fitness and technique. Highly recommended!

I've been going to the BJJ Monday classes for a month now. I've felt really welcome and learned a lot so far. Great group of guys, Trev the teacher is very knowledgeable and a nice bloke. The dojo facilities are also really good too. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get involved in martial arts!
