Very nice friendly staff, lovely good down to earth fresh home well cooked food. Extremely good value and nice atmosphere. A lovely all round country pub.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The pub is very traditional in style, there menu is traditional and very classic british pub food. The prices are great, the portions great and the quality of the taste is great. I would happily go here more than once, I highly recommend.

Brilliant place to stay if your going to a wedding in the venue just down road. Very welcoming and breakfast was lovely.Had a problem with shower but it was sorted out the same day. Definitely would stay again if we're in area.

The pub and 'hotel' need to be reviewed separately. The pub is nice. Friendly staff, great food, super dog friendly, reasonable prices etc. I would give it 3/4stars.The hotel is a different matter! 'Housekeeping' need some serious training! Dusty, cobwebs, pet hair, dead insects etc littering the edges of the carpet. Limescale in the bathroom. Etc etc. Whoever checked us in was particularly unapproachable, so we just had a quick clean up ourselves and only stayed the one night.Seriously over priced for what they provide.On the plus side they are dog friendly (but there was dog poo in several places in the garden! )Such a shame because it could be lovely if they gave it enough effort.

Nice pub and staff we didnt eat there so carnt comment on food had a drink a few games of pool the decor is a little run down could do with a revamp this pub has a lot of potential just needs some money invested and tlc it could really thrive

Clean, tidy rooms. Showers took a few minutes to warm up. Food is fabulous, freshly cook wholesome food. Excellent service, friendly made you feel at home. So kind & nice. Would highly recommend and would stay there again
