Mike McNally Golf Coaching: Golf Lessons in Edinburgh

My wife and I recently traveled to Scotland for two weeks for vacation. I thought, We're going to Scotland and have always wanted to take up golf. Why not take a lesson where golf basically began?" I found Mike very welcoming which made it easier to relax. Personally my main issue is using the Driver which I am amazed to see an improvement already with slight changes and a better understanding of the reasons for the changes.I came away confident that my game will improve after more instruction from Mike. I wish I started the lessons much earlier as I would be a much better golfer.I would recommend Mike to other golfers who want to improve their game.

Had my first lesson with Mike recently, after suffering badly with my driver for quite a while. Pleased to say with Mikes coaching he had me making much better contact by the end of the first lesson. Looking forward to seeing more results from my future lessons.

A great session. Mike able to clearly explain how to correct technique and breakdown how to correct. Helps you to see what you need to do when shots go wrong.

I had a great lesson with Mike on Sunday 24th September. He is a great golf coach with easy instruction to follow.He demonstrates with a simple guide to follow. So you get the fastest results from a lesson. Excellent

This was my first golf lesson as I adjusted to a new swing after a shoulder injury. Mike was pragmatic and knowledgeable and assessed my game and objectives quickly. We focused on making a couple of specific changes and used the lesson to practice them. I put the lesson onto the course later that day and the improvement in my game was really noticeable - really happy with it!Had a second lesson too which really consolidated on the good progress I had been making working on the initial changes. Mike is really good at isolating issues, explaining them and then putting practical interventions in place to sort them out - the pre and post-shot routine we focused on today will be a constant part of my golf game from now on and be invaluable in helping me be more consistent - exactly my goal at the start of the lesson.

First session with Mike and immediately felt relaxed in his company and with the coaching studio setup. Mike took time to discuss my issues and objectives before asking me to hit balls. He was clearly very knowledgeable and quickly identified my faults and demonstrated them clearly with video feedback and Trackman data. Pinpointed aspects of my swing and setup that I needed to change and worked through some drills that immediately made a noticeable difference. Kindly suggested that I split my session into two so that I could work on my homework and have a 2nd session in a few weeks. Had not long left the studio when I was invited to sign up to the CoachNow app where I had immediate access to my session videos. Looking forward to reaping the benefits when back on the course and to the next session with Mike.

Mike is an excellent coach. He explains very clearly and makes lessons very enjoyable. He sets targets and you can therefore see any progress made. Highly recommend!

Mike is an absolute expert and a joy to work with! I went into my first lesson being able to hit a ball, but with zero no technical knowledge of what makes a good golf swing. Resulting in a lot of inconsistency and frustration.Mike’s teachings have definitely improved my technique, as well as my confidence when stood over a ball. But more importantly than this, the knowledge that he shares has allowed me to understand WHY things go wrong in a golf shot, which is a huge help in increasing consistency.Mike is great, get some lessons booked in before the start of the next season!
