I had one of the most delicious cont meals for miles around. I'm a London boy and stopped here on a recommendation for a date with a local.While the atmosphere was lacking, that was purely down to the lack of customers on a quiet night. The same limitation can judge the over-attentiveness of the staff, but they were classy beyond expectations.This is where any comments ends.This was one of the most beautiful places to have a meal. it’s been made to look so beautiful from the places that it has been before. It is classic, tasteful and features the historical features this Cornish gateway was given.When it comes to the food.. Every single course was beautifully presented and was tasty AF and a good price for the quality and safisticon of the ingredients that built the dishes. they are also full of insight into the origins and information about the ingredients. They offer a good* selection of drinks, both on tap and also cocktails

My daughter and I had a superb evening here 18 August, food absolutely delicious, staff happy, smiling, friendly and attentive… we had duck and beef and although choice is not extensive, it was carefully and wonderfully prepared, cooked and presented by the Chef … will be visiting again

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. There could have been more vegetables with the duck though, they was just a small portion of celeriac hidden underneath. Otherwise it was well prepared with a great sauce.

We had a meal there on the31st August. Excellent meals had by all. Beautifully presented. Service was very good. Will be back. Very lucky to have such a great restaurant nearby.

Our first visit to this recently opened restaurant in Launceston, what a gem.A fairly small menu but every item is lovingly cooked and presented.Our party of 4 went for 3 lamb and 1 monkfish as main courses….all fantastic.Atmosphere and staff warm and friendly.Good selection of wines.Would recommend Restaurant G’s highly….lucky Launceston, hope the locals support this new venture and the special events.

Wow… a top-quality service. A beautiful meal with family. I have been to quite a few fancy restaurants and I must say this food surpasses them all.Intense flavour in each course. We will certainly return.
